I tend to agree with this.   So all those workers who are sacked will go onto social security benefits so the government will end up paying millions upon millions more every month instead of each separate departments budget. 

Some may lose there house and/or cars as they cannot pay the mortgage,   I expect crime will increase and more families will be under stress.

You don't get social security if you're fired you can apply for unemployment which you pay into on your paycheck. That is for a limited time for collection of reduced payments.

 

I agree it is a stupid action for trump to take. Is there waste, overspend and expansive govt, sure and it came from both parties over decades.

The more appropriate action would be to systematically inspect and deal with each agency with some type of plan.  Not slash and burn everything and then put tariffs on every country we deal with.

Apparently, we all agree there it waste, overspending, and that it came from both parties over decades.

None of the cases have been concluded with a determination that the Administration has acted illegally.
