You seem to think it's sad that gender dysphoria is classified as a mental illness, allowing the afflicted to get treatments paid for by insurance and gub'ment programs.

 

The alternative explanation is that it's a lifestyle choice.  Elective procedures generally aren't covered.  They come out of pocket.

 

Don't you think it would be cruel to withhold their treatment, or offer it only to the wealthy who can afford it?
