A 63-year-old man lost his life after his motorcycle crashed into the back of a ten-wheel lorry on Route 36 in Bang Lamung district. Despite the immediate intervention of three off-duty nurses who performed CPR for over 20 minutes, they were unable to save him.

The collision occurred at around 19:30 on 16 March, near the Chamchuri U-turn in Pong subdistrict. Emergency services from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation in Pattaya were alerted and coordinated with police and relevant agencies to investigate.

At the scene, officers found a white Isuzu Rocky ten-wheel trailer with damage to its rear. Nearby, a blue-black Honda Wave 110i motorcycle lay overturned on the road. The rider, later identified as Mr. Adun, 63, was found dead on the road.

Three female who happened to be passing by, stopped their vehicle and rushed to help. It was later revealed that they were nurses from Somdej Phra Boromma Ratchathewi Hospital in Si Racha, returning from a trip to Rayong.

One of the nurses stated that upon checking the victim, they found no pulse and immediately began CPR. They continued resuscitation efforts for more than 20 minutes, before rescuers arrived, but sadly, they were unable to revive him. Rescue personnel later confirmed his death.

Police are now investigating the cause of the incident, questioning witnesses and the lorry driver. CCTV footage from the area is also being reviewed to support any legal process. Initial investigation shows that the lorry was parked on the side of a well lit road, when the motorcyclist ran straight into it.
