Obese People on Plane Seats.
Weight safety distribution is a ridiculous myth someone made up - a few obese passagers make no difference when considering all the cargo etc... that idea is just someone really over-egging their argument. As far a 're-construct internal seating' is concerned - is that what Premium Economy is ???? Perhaps Airlines should instead offer... 'skinny seats' - narrower, less leg room etc... for those who are less than 160cm and less than 50 kgs etc ???... ... Where do we draw the line ? -

German Man Behind Violent Tirade in Korat Dental Clinics
Manhunt for German Accused of Assaulting Dentists in Thailand Image: Bangkok Post Police in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, have issued an arrest warrant for a 41-year-old German man after a series of assaults on dentists in the Muang district. Identified only as Heffner, the suspect allegedly attacked multiple dentists and damaged equipment over three-and-a-half months. The arrest warrant, approved on three charges—trespassing, assault, and property damage—was issued amid rising concerns over previous police inaction. Despite numerous complaints, authorities had not acted swiftly, which drew public and professional criticism. The incidents began when a woman dentist reported an attack on 30th November. She claimed the man forced entry into her clinic by punching through a door. Other dentists later filed similar complaints, describing their fears of being targeted by him. Local police claimed to have attempted contacting Heffner twice for questioning, but he failed to comply. In response to the mounting pressure, police searched the suspect's residence with an interpreter, only to find he had fled in a dark green Ford Ranger. The authorities are actively pursuing him, spearheaded by Deputy Provincial Police Chief Pol Col Kachen Setthaputta. Questions regarding the delay in issuing the warrant were addressed, as it emerged that some complaints were withdrawn after the suspect's Thai wife claimed his behaviour resulted from untreated mental illness. While the investigation continues, the case underscores the urgent need for action when facing repeated criminal activity and the significant role mental health can play in such incidents, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-03-18 -
