Trump's descent includes threat of violence in his most direct attack against judiciary

The collapse of the rule of law.

The judicial branch of government is co-equal to the presidency and to Congress, under the Constitution.

However, Trump and Musk are treating judges as if they have no right to constrain them. Yet that’s precisely what judges are supposed to do if they find that the executive branch has exceeded its authority.

The article referred to above reveals the horrifying depths Trump has sunk to in his determination to override the judiciary.

A purveyor of hate, threats and victimhood,  he is surely the most dangerous man in the US right now.

But he's a coward. He will make threats and identify family members, and have his minions doxx judges who offend him, all in the hope one of his MAGA goons will engage in violence against his critics or guardrails. It's exactly what he did on 6 Jan 2021 to get his goobers to attack the Capitol. He knows how to manipulate his ignorant cult.

He's pure cowardly scum.

The collapse of the rule of law.

Everyone interprets reality through their own pre-conceived lens.

The article states "another frightening step toward dictorship" ... and that's exactly what a lot of people love to hear since that's what you believe already.

But then the article also points out that Trump considers the judge to be "crooked" and also mentions one reason he was elected was to fight illegal immigration and the judge is interfering.

Engaging in a power struggle with a judge doesn't mean it's a step towards an evil dictatorship or the complete breakdown of democracy. He genuinely believes that he's doing something positive so he's getting a bit rough around the edges to get what he wants. He's unorthodox. He's passionate about going after what he wants. Maybe even plays a little dirty.

But that doesn't mean it's heading toward a path of evil dictatorship.

Maybe the judge is an ahole or on the wrong side of the fence.

Have to wonder where was the outrage from the left when Schumer was calling for violence against the Supreme court judge? When AOC falsely and without evidence accused Kavanaugh of "running train" (gang SA) on a women after doing a beer bong?

Why do the left support some calls to violence against judges, yet reach for the fainting couch when the opposition does a much less serious thing? And Trump did this to keep Americans safe from vile gangbangers the democrats welcomed across their open border.

No surprise democrat approval is barely 20% they are just so wrong about everything. Bring back logic. Stop hypocrisy. Ratchet back the hate and rage. Save your party.

Threating protests about side of the houses of Supreme court justices was cool to the lefties.

On Monday, the American Bar Association issued a statement denouncing the ongoing wave of verbal assaults and threats against judges.

The Federal Judges Association said on Tuesday that “continued violence, intimidation and defiance directed at judges simply because they are fulfilling their sworn judicial duties” risked “the collapse of the rule of law.”

I just read the rest of the article.

Trump is not uttering threats, apart from stating the judges should be impeached.

It seems like Trump's followers are threatening the judges? I don't agree with that. These people should shut up. A lot of Trump's followers might be nuts, but that doesn't mean Trump is completely nuts and everything he is doing is completely nuts. He deported dangerous criminals.

So the headline.of this thread is wrong yet people still argue with you ?

Just to follow up. This is what the article claims. That Trump's followers are threatening judges.

But how do I know this journalist is not making this up to slander Trump?

There's no proof of this claim that judges are being threatened with violence.

Since the end of January, Musk has blasted judges in more than 30 posts on his social media site X, calling them “corrupt”, “radical”, “evil” and deriding the “TYRANNY of the JUDICIARY” after judges blocked parts of the federal downsizing he has led.

As a result, there has been a rise in violent threats against judges across the United States. Judges are expressing mounting alarm over their physical safety. Several judges describe phone calls promising personal harm to them and their families.

Some people have almost everyone on their ignore list.

Some people probably quit the forum due to political debates.

Did they protest when the dems did this?

Trump's post

This Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected President - He didn’t WIN the popular VOTE (by a lot!), he didn’t WIN ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, he didn’t WIN 2,750 to 525 Counties, HE DIDN’T WIN ANYTHING! I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY. I’m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do. This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!! WE DON’T WANT VICIOUS, VIOLENT, AND DEMENTED CRIMINALS, MANY OF THEM DERANGED MURDERERS, IN OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

A deranged post, Trump unable to separate the powers of the executive from the judiciary.

It's incendiary, extremely insulting and could easily fire up Maga supporters

Trump is insane.
