Climate Crisis Reaches Critical Point as Global Records Shatter in 2024
Sometime in the distant past, there were trees growing in the arctic. I guess the earth was quite warm for that to happen. If we are headed for another hot spell on Earth, I guess we will all have to adapt. quit buying ocean side properties, and we will have to have places like giant green houses to grow food if the nateral fields all fail. It is nice that the scientists can keep us all informed of what the future will look like. Climate Crisis sounds negative, how about we come up with a more positive phrase? Ideas? -

Have you ever had a near-death experience (NDE)?
I had a heart attack on Dec 5th, and if my Sisdter in Law had not given me CPR and the heart surgeon would not have put in a stint, i would be dead, so yes I think that was a near death experience. -

800k Baht for retirement visa, bank book entries question.
As @khunPer stated, obtaining the Non=O domestically will require proof the funds came from abroad. I know this first hand, because I complained vehemently about it. I had worked here for 10 years, and saved up the 800K required. But I was forced to wire it to my bank in the US, then wire it back. Eating the fees and spreads. In my case, I was required to show evidence of the "Credit Advice", which is the document that a bank produces when wiring money abroad. I had to show the credit advice from the US and from Bangkok Bank. I also needed to provide the bank book showing the deposit and current balance.
