A father is someone that helps in the raising of children and supporting them and his wife. A sperm donor is a boy that has no intentions to stay if a child is born, and will not support them unless it's forced upon them by a legitimate court system. They will go onto another naive girl that falls for their BS until they are bedded, then left once again.

Yeah I'm sure this is happening too but I'm seeing some REALLY young kids, not much older than 18 with little babies and they seem to be a family unit. This used to be normal if you go back in time far enough. This is not the norm at all though and birth rates have collapsed in the cities so it's not like this is all of Thailand.

You will see many young fathers holding their toddlers but what you might not see is them staying much longer, when it becomes work. Not only the boys but women here do this. My ex here gave her first daughter away at 9 years old to her ex boyfriend's family and went to work in Bangkok, seeing her only a couple times a year until this day. She's just had a child with her husband and is I believe 30. Her second daughter lived with her when I met her at 5, stayed with her, and eventually grandma, because after I built our house, my ex didn't want her daughter living with us, so she stayed with grandma 1/2 kilo away. When we  divorced, she sent her to live with her ex, the daughter's father, actually his mom, at 10 for a year and then got her back for a short while before sending her to live with her first daughter. Like a football, she is passed around from house to house, now again staying with the first daughter. Yet another reason I will take my daughter out of here, as many here don't give a crap about their own kids, preferring to pawn them off on others so they can play elsewhere, but call it working.

With that attitude you're only recourse is hookers, because a smart, independent woman wouldn't want anything to do with one who thinks they are better than they are. Plenty of men can't read maps, and since when are maps necessary if you have GPS in your phone? As far as driving, I've noticed all of my life what are the worst drivers, and it isn't women but Asians, teenagers, very old who drive too slow in  a fast environment, and women and men who act like Karens, thinking they own the road. The majority of the best known  chefs are men, but the majority of the primary cooks and chefs are still women.

The GPS on your phone indicates your position on a MAP thats on your phone.

Yes, but it tells you where to turn, and you don't have to look at your phone, or read the map, to get where you're going.

I've never met a woman good at map reading. Met 1 good driver. No females in F1 for a reason.

I've been in cars with many women who were good drivers, including my daughters, and in cars with men who actually scared me, and I don't scare easy. Here, the van and bus drivers are all on their phones, women and men, and sometimes eating as well, and it's no wonder why so many die every day here. Most accidents in the US involve people using phones also, so it's not just here. It's been many years since I've seen  anyone using an actual map besides myself.

What you don't see are the many good relationships I've had where we parted ways because of different future plans. And it isn't a good idea to coment unless you are with a good woman you treat well and support. Hookers don't count. There are millions of men who've had children with more than one woman because of bad choices in them.

I feel for the children who have been left behind on a whim.

Studies show that children with two parents thrive and those who don’t have two parents are less likely too thrive.

Children do better with two on the ball parents. If they're single parent, the job's much harder but it can work. If it's a dad, the kids could find another female role model for that side, like a teacher, aunt or grandma. If it's a single mom, the girl could look at grandpa, and uncle or a good teacher to see how a man should act and treat women. Some kids come from a bad environment and do well if they have other role models to look up to, and some come from a spoiled home life and think the world owes them.

You do if your deaf! You also need to look at the map when your setting your journey. Furthermore anyone whose is not intelligent enough to read a map is not intelligent enough to be driving in the first place, that probably explains why most Thais can't read a map and why they are incompetent drivers.

The difference in being able to drive and ability to read a map is quite considerable. If you're deaf and can't read a map, you might be in a little trouble but there are options. I wouldn't assume how many Thais can't read a map because I only know a few hundred, and not much personally, out of over 77 million. I do agree that many I've seen aren't that swift at driving, take too many chances and are arrogant, along with incompetent.

Yes I would agree that the ability to read a map is a damn sight easier than being able to drive competently, unless like most Thais who can't do either.

If you would have done that to 18 year old me I would have folded you like a Taco Bell burrito.

17 18 year old me would have been in the bar with a beer so fast I would have made flash seem slow. But then most teens in Canada are trying to get into bars at 17 lol

Thai young boys definately not..

Spoilt kids, only think of football and drive motobikes to make young girls pregnant and then run away from responibility...

One major reason I will leave Thailand with my daughter as soon as I can re establish back home. This isn't a good country for females in many regards.u

I think if brought up with boundaries and sent to good schools etc you will have less trouble then the UK .

Thai legal age is 20 ! Not 18, so something ain't right here.

You don't need to be legal age 20 to have a kid

The Village I'm acquainted with a 13 or 14 year old girl every year gets knocked up and has a baby

Don't know what you're talking about legal age of 20 maybe getting a passport or owning land

Legal age for sex is 16 so says the internet

I only suggested that because a strong woman isn't inferior to you. Nor are any others but some will believe they are because of their child history. I don't need hookers, preferring women who think for themselves without money as the primary agenda.

Where do you find all those qualities here in Thailand

Agree that teenagers have no business having sex until they are working and can support themselves and any children they might make, and should instead be dating, playing video games and sports until they are able to work.

The discussion is not about being a father. It's about their lack of maturity, go right ahead and <deleted> the girl with no thinking whatever about pregnancy etc.

That all comes with maturity or the lack thereof. The world's population is twice as much as it would be if children didn't have children with children, and waited until they were more mature so they could properly take care of the children being created instead of pawning them off with grandma, who could be totally incompetent to take care of a youngster. Being a father means you teach your children so they grow up with a brain capable of taking care of themselves and possibly others, and that starts watching your parents while you're growing up in their household. Thai teens lack maturity and are far behind those of equal age in the west because the west cares more for their offspring. They have them driving scooters at age 8 and doing farm work early, which some might think is showing them how to grow up faster, the opposite of what should happen.

It's the hardest thing to find in anyone's life. A good partner is a blessing to your well being , hers, and of any children born.  A bad woman is a curse on society and half of the reasons the world has so many problems now. My ex is a real problem because her mother had 11 children and didn't have the capability or desire to love them properly, one after another so the next in line gets more attention than the previous ones, which leads to them growing up mostly by themselves, looking elsewhere for attention and gui8dance, which usually comes at a price. This is where narcissism is created. You grow up without attention , and or abuse and neglect, and maybe the opposite, a golden child that's spoiled, you create a society monster, who takes out the anger on the rest of the world.

You can do the best job possible and your child will go into the world surrounded by protection and love, but once they have peers, they can be led astray, into danger, or used by others who were raised to be predators. This country already looks at women as inferior, as does a few others, and that thinking has them being targets for any piece of garbage that comes along, disguised in a cute face and slim body, and lines of BS.
