Trump Tariff Threat Slows Thai Auto Industry

Thailand’s automotive industry is reeling as a potential 25% tariff from Trump on imported vehicles causes global uncertainty. Car exports dropped 8.34% in February and are down 18.1% for the year, while domestic sales also fell by 9.53%. Tight lending rules and stricter emissions standards abroad are compounding problems. Manufacturers face reduced production, and the industry is banking on the Bangkok International Motor Show and a 5-billion-baht loan scheme to boost demand. All eyes are now on Trump’s decision, which could determine the sector’s short-term future.

Gee these Americans take the cake for being stupid and selfish.

They exported cars from the USA around the world for decades making huge profits.

Then they moved a lot of their factories overseas to exploit cheaper labour to profit themselves more.

Now they are bitching.

America is like the fat kid at the birthday party that wants to all the cake for himself.
Me, me, me.

American cars are of average quality, they will only become more average with this socialist protectionism.

American cars are the McDonald’s of the car industry. Junk.
