It’s important to be sensitive and respectful when discussing events that cause human suffering, and the loss of life from an earthquake is certainly not something to be impressed by.


I completely agree. I can’t help but wonder if, his little hovel in Chiang Mai, had collapsed on top of him and he’d been trapped under the rubble for the past 48+ hours, barely clinging to life from dehydration, would he still be lying there, deliriously whispering “nice one” to himself as we speak? Sickening. 🙄

Exactly. Self delusion. Confirmed.

That was number three for me. First in Western Kentucky 1970. Second here in Chiang Mai 2015 and third current. Death toll reported is rising.
