A ''Balls Up'' among DOGE

Featured Replies

Edward Coristine, known as "Big Balls," and a member of the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE), has been reported to have provided technical services to the cybercriminal group EGodly.

In 2022, Big Balls ran a company called DiamondCDN that provided network services. Among his clients was the website of the group EGodly, active on Telegram, which boasted about stealing data, including phone numbers, and stealing cryptocurrencies, and hacking into email accounts of justice authorities.

They also disseminated private data of an FBI agent who was conducting an investigation against them.

Reuters was unable to verify the truth of these boasts, but an FBI agent confirmed that the group was suspected of making false reports.

A Department of Government Efficiency aide at the nation’s consumer watchdog agency was told by ethics attorneys that he held $715,000 in stock in companies that employees are forbidden from owning — and was advised not to participate in any actions that could benefit him personally, according to a person familiar with the warning.

But days later, court records show, Gavin Kliger, a 25-year-old software engineer who has been detailed to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau since early March, went ahead and participated in mass layoffs at the agency anyway, including the firings of the ethics lawyers who had warned him.

I don't think it's fair to blame this guy for the firing of the ethics lawyer. Clearly this administration isn't going to use their services.

You are mistaken.it hasn’t been adjucated yet and most likely won’t under the most corrupt administration in history.unless prosecuting the criminal is in the political interest or the headline is useful for something else.certainly what’s correct under law is no concern.

I understand they are under the impression that "Ethics" is a county in England, on the north bank of the River Thames east of London!
