The left wants to destroy the Greatest country on Earth.

Riclag your usual (IMO) mindless posting.

You should revise these words - "The left wants to destroy the Greatest country on Earth" to, "mad Trumpties are wreaking havoc in the USA, a once prosperous, great and widely respected Nation".

There's a hundred other ways to express rational revulsion at the antics of Trump, Musk, Maga and Co. and you. History will show Trump, (and you), in such a light you will hang your head in shame.

He wants to get along with all countries?  Are you really that ignorant to his statements and actions? He wants to get along with other nations only as long as they fall in line and do whatever he dreams up as their way of showing fealty to him and his wishes

You just don't understand. Trump loves other countries. Some of them so much so that he wants to embrace them and embrace them so hard that they actually merge into the America.

Ray was one of the greatest singers ever.

Unmistakeable voice.

A genius and timeless as they come.

Ray made the best of things , get busy living or get busy dying .He pulled  himself up out of poverty , developed skills and ran with it!
At that time in my country people were looking for patriotic hero’s .

Something the democrats , Trump haters and the sick international left , especially the terrorist sympathizers will never understand.

I don't have the link, but Trump is threatening a 3rd term. He claims there are ways to get around the 2-term limit.

Ha ha !!

Pls enough with Ray Charles ... he's not the greatest or even close.

Is it raining over your way?

Just wondering what's causing you to doubt American exceptionalism?

“The fact that he was blind from childhood only added to the mystery of his mastery. He attracted appreciation from white folks and black folks, listeners from the country and the city, rich people and poor people, the up-and-coming and the down-and-out”.

Sounds appropriate, feels appropriate.

From Wikipedia:

In 1964, Charles' career was halted once more after he was arrested for a third time for possession of heroin. He agreed to go to a rehabilitative facility to avoid jail time and eventually kicked his habit at a clinic in Los Angeles.

-- Maybe today DOGE would have shut down the rehab center.

Yes, yes. God bless America.

And thank Christ I am not American.

And all Americans thank you also.

Or maybe not. When opioids were primarily an affliction of black people, right wingers saw jail as the appropriate therapy. But now that it's made such inroads among lower income white people, instead of a crime it's now a tragic affliction and worthy of treatment.

They got a huge head start by using slave labor.

Pretty easy to turn a profit when you use slaves.

And by selfishness. The USA exported cars etc etc to the world for years raking it in. But are ideologically opposed to receiving imports.

Trump is their hero now, just a selfish whining rich kid who was never taught to share, the idiots love him.

Some used slave labor but many didn't, and stopped it. Slave labor is now higher than ever before, and Thailand has a huge part of it.

This topic is about you hating white people, not me.

Half of you white people in America hate the other half.

it is very immature that you can not accept election results.

And I think you are confused, Muslim is a religion, not a country or a race.

i think that is where a lot of the hating each other in the USA comes from, the poor education, the inbreeding and lack of general knowledge.

Where the hell do you find these things? How would you know if half the Americans hate the other half? Hate happens everywhere, especially here, and in all countries, and no one alive knows how many people hate. Poor education? In a country with some of the best schools and teachers worldwide? Lack of general knowledge, after seeing the US is so high in inventions, schooling, and industry.?  How much inbreeding do you actually think happens there? Where did you get that idea? Watching a TV show?

US is definitely NOT the greatest country on Earth. All of that is self-praise and forced marketing, due to English being most commonly spoken language on the planet, so US-based TV and movie production, as well as news media span the globe.

There are far better countries to live in, though. US is way down the list...

And that's not to bash the country. There are many good things about the US and I'm sure there are many people who find the loose regulations compared to some other places a contributor to their prosperity and love living there. My experience with most people, many of them my friends now, has also been excellent. But while people are great, and opportunities many, your very twisted headline is considerably off.

The US actually is a great place to live, as seen by many from other countries moving there daily. Also the fact that anything you can find in any country worldwide you can find in the US. The US is as good as any other country, and I'm wondering what other countries you think are actually better and why.

Did you miss the part about life expectancy and high health care costs?

And people from poorer nations moving to wealthier nations is a worldwide phenomenon.  Not just confined to the USA. Up till now, the US did draw a lot of highly educated foreign scientists to do research at US universities much of it funded by the Federal Govt..  But given the huge budget cuts, that looks like a thing of the past. Other developed nations are starting to take advantage of this by luring scientists to their countries instead.

All those people don't try to live in the US because the US is so great, they do so because their own countries are <deleted><deleted> and the US up till now let them enter illegally and work there.

If their own countries were half as good as a western country, they'd stay there. No one crosses the Darien for fun, which says how bad their own counties are.

PS I don't think any countries are good, it's just that some countries are less bad than others.

Netherlands isn't car dependent and people cycle to work and there are bike paths everywhere.

In general, a lot of places in Europe are more walkable. The US made cities car-dependent.

But maybe a lot of other things about the Netherlands suck. Never lived there.

In general, I think many countries in europe had at least 4 weeks (if not 6) off in summers.

Then the US came along and cut the vacations down to 2 weeks and exarcebated workaholism and made the 60 hour workweek cool. And perfected the rat race, which makes everyone miserable.

Are Americans really better off with the biggest SUVs and giving up so much free time?

Why all the US Americans ( America is a Continent) and non US American believe in something non existing like Gods and similar? May be that is causing all the trouble for them as waiting for something what never has existed.

No, I lived there for 62 years, and will move back as soon as I can. I have Medicare, so that doesn't figure in for me at least. It's up to the government to do the right thing and give us free health care.

Pros and cons with pros far outweighing the cons, like a lot of places.
