Ah, the fantasy world of a MAGA cult member! Your "nobody" believed a word of it merely refers to cult members, who lack the brains to understand. Such is the curse of inferior genes. Your messiah is not infallible. He stole highly classified documents. It was no inadvertent; it was on purpose. Why does a guy running a wedding planner facility need TS, SCI, Codeword, SAP, HCS and other docs? When asked to return them, why did he lie and keep so many that the FBI had to search his facility to get them back? Why did he call his goobers to DC for 6 January, saying "It'll be WILD!", when on that day the only activity was a pro forma certification of a free and fair election he lost badly? Why did he tell his goobers to march to the Capitol, saying "fight" 34 times in his bizarre rant, and "peacefully" just once? Is he just too stupid to understand crowd mentality, which seems to be your excuse? And why do people who beat and bear sprayed police, shat on the floor of the Capitol, and set up gallows to hang the Vice President deserve "reparations"? MAGAs are sick fascist scum, one and all. Every last one of those terrorists should have been Babbitized. Traitors to democracy and American ideals. It is MAGAs who suffer a "syndrome" and have irrational hatred of everything better people than a MAGA could ever be fought to defend for 250 years. -

UK Passport renewal - email received 'send us your passport' 2 weeks after applying?
When you say VFS "send everything", does that mean your expiring passports as well, and not just all-page photocopies? My recollection from when I renewed both my UK passports via VFS twice since they took over the process from the Embassy, the reason we were allowed to keep our expiring passport is because it's illegal for a foreigner to be in Thailand without their original passport in their possession. Keeping a photo copy or scan doesn't legally count. This thread appears to highlight varying, recent experiences. I'm renewing both mine at the Durham passport office in a couple of weeks from now, before returning to Thailand. I am expecting a minor kerfuffle at immigration on arrival as they'll need a supervisor to add my new passport to my decades-long history on the "front desk" computer. -
