Held at the picturesque Siri Sala Private Thai Villa in Bangkok Noi, renowned as one of the filming locations for the third season of "The White Lotus," the event was a vibrant celebration of two capitals, highlighting a unique historical coincidence: Rome's founding in 753 BC and Bangkok’s establishment in 1782 AD. The event served as a pivotal platform for strengthening cultural and economic ties between Thailand and Italy, drawing a distinguished assembly of destination management companies, hoteliers, travel agencies, institutional representatives, media, and influencers. The gathering showcased the rich partnerships and mutual admiration shared between the two nations, aiming to enhance cooperation in tourism and hospitality. A moment of solemn reflection marked the beginning of the evening, as attendees paid tribute to the late Pope Francis, underscoring the deep cultural bonds and shared moments between nations.
