Another anti-vaxer here citing another in a long line of nutjob non-sources, not surprisingly:

"Vernon Edward Coleman (born 1946) is an English conspiracy theorist and writer, who writes on topics related to human health, politics and animal welfare. He was formerly a general practitioner (GP) and newspaper columnist. Coleman's medical claims have been widely discredited and described as pseudoscientific conspiracy theories.[1][2][3]  [Emphasis added]

Coleman has claimed that COVID-19 is a hoax, that vaccines are dangerous, and that face masks cause cancer. All these claims have been debunked by more senior medical professionals.[36][37][38] Coleman has also claimed the Coronavirus Pandemic has links to the Agenda 21 Conspiracy Theory and the Great Reset Theory, which both suggest a cabal of elite figures are attempting to depopulate the global community. No evidence has been found to support these claims.[39]"

I make Dr Coleman right on most of what he says. Including the content in your post.

He has written a few books. Some on medical practices.

When they develop a vaccine that protects against stupidity, I am happy to donate mine to the OP.

He needs it desperately.

Plenty of studies to show that wearing masks does no good.

Too many people out there cannot do any research, but still quote BBC, Wiki and CNN nonsense.

Are you a medical practitioner?

Oh dear, an even lower category IQ needs to be dedicated for those that are still 'masks protect you from catching covid'-believers.

I'm not a doctor. Never have been.

Was employed as the resident physiologist for a London Borough many moons ago. I do have the experience to offer some advice, on certain aspects of well-being..

You are not wrong there Red Sir.

Easy for these 'know nothings' to read something on Wiki, or hear something on BBC/CNN/CNBC, and suddenly think they have learned something. And then, to show their sillyness, post it on AN to 'prove' a point. As if they are in they knowledge club, and all others, that don't agree, are stupid.

It's a wonder you have not been kicked out of the profession, with the ignorant nonsense you post.

Masks!

Professor Chris Whitty, the UK’s Chief Medical Officer, said in March 2020 that wearing a face mask had almost no effect on reducing the risk of contracting covid-19, and that the Government did not advise healthy individuals to wear masks. His statement was broadcast on all mainstream channels on UK TV.

-------

 M. Klompas, C. Morris et al ‘Universal Masking in hospitals in the covid-19 era’ – New England Journal of Medicine 2020

-------

In 2015, the British Medical Journal published a paper entitled, A Cluster Randomised Trial of Cloth Masks Compared with Medical Masks in Healthcare Workers.

-------

HSE Contract Research Report no 27/1991, produced by the British Health and Safety Executive and entitled, Dead space and inhaled carbon dioxide levels in respiratory protective equipment.

-------

A recent BMA study of 212 healthcare mask-wearing workers showed that a third of them developed headaches with 60% needing painkillers to relieve the headache. Some of the headaches were thought to be caused by an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the blood or a reduction in the amount of oxygen in the blood.

Another study, this time of 159 young health workers, showed that 81% developed headaches after wearing face masks – so much so that their work was affected. An N95 mask can reduce blood oxygenation by as much as 20% and this can lead to a loss of consciousness. Naturally, this can be dangerous for vehicle drivers; masked bus drivers, for example, could be putting their passengers’ lives at risk.

-------

A recent report published in the British Medical Journal summarised some mask-wearing risks. A published summary!

First, when a face mask is worn, some of the air you breathe out goes into your eyes. This can be annoying and uncomfortable and if, as a result, you touch your eyes you may infect yourself.
Second, face masks make breathing more difficult and, has already been pointed out, anyone who has a breathing problem will find that a mask makes it worse. Also, some of the carbon dioxide which is breathed out with each exhalation is then breathed in because it is trapped.
Together these factors may mean that the mask wearer may breathe more frequently or more deeply, and if that happens then someone who has the coronavirus may end up breathing more of the virus into their lungs. If a mask is contaminated because it has been worn for too long then the risks are even greater. How long is too long? No one knows but two hours seems an accepted limit.
Third, there is a risk that the accumulation of the virus in the fabric of the mask may increase the amount of the virus being rebreathed in. This might then defeat the body’s immune response and cause an increase in infections; other infections, not just the coronavirus.

Lots more examples/studies out there.

As iron sharpens iron, so can one person sharpen another. I enjoy the articles you post about medical science theories.

I have discarded the theories of medical science and anyone who falls under the spell to the garbage can as the fruit borne of following their theories is poison and sickness and illwill wished on those who question and refuse to follow the nonsense.

The Holy Bible would refer to this scenario as peasants following a false idol of the pharaoh and his advisors.  The punishment of being tricked  is severe as we all witnessed the hypochondriacs descent.  Eventually the peasants quit falling for the trickery and learned they were granted a superpower of self healing.

How?  Just do the opposite of what they did to us.  My strategy is to thank God for health and vitality, and then enjoy my day free of worry.  The results have been superb.  The results indicate your thoughts backed by a quack can make you sick.  So by default, thoughts backed by the Divine can make you healthy.

Jeff Childers ....C&C  author :

"We’re mired in a liminal moment. The studies are stacking up, the gag orders have lapsed, but the media still refuses to see the giant, genetically engineered spike protein flailing in the corner. Of course, after serving as narrative enforcers for four years, they have no choice but to studiously ignore the obvious. But when will the dam finally break for good?

Maybe, under new leadership, the public health agencies will finally tackle the biggest unspoken disaster in modern medicine. Remain hopeful. Every single indicator on the dashboard is glowing green. Hang in there."

Yeah covid, seems elusive as the Loch Ness monster now doesn't it ?

The worst thing to hit mankind since Spanish flu - grinding world to a halt for 2.5 years -disappeared up its urse after 2022....not really mentioned after early 2023 in UK mainstream news at all. Think it would be rearing its monster head at least once over that time after the lockdowns ended.

People have the cold or flu, never covid even if it is..it's like the most unmentionable word in the world now...boogeyman virus.

Cue mask fetish member now to quote me paragraph by paragraph.

Covid did not grind the world to a hault. Government policies did.

No, there was a lot of confusion at the time.

It wasn't clear how much they would enforce the rules.

I thought employers would enforce it, but they didnt

Restaurants did and I had some peer pressure to go to restaurants.

I'm not afraid the vaccine will kill me, neither do I believe it saved my life from covid. I'm in the "neither/nor" camp, maybe the only human being on the planet in that category.
