The visa field is optional. If you have a visa, you are free to leave the field blank or to give your visa number.

If this new system is like the 90 day online application, then the "3 day rule" may cause some problems. If your ticket to Thailand is on May 31st and the system is "too busy", experiencing "problems", "down for maintenance", I'm glad they have the "facility" at the Bangkok airport to complete the arrival card.

Highly unlikely the system will be too busy for the full 3 day duration that you have to submit.

Jist took me less than 5 minutes to fill it out

I have a retirement visa so i have no outbound flight but still gave them a bogus outbound flight number as it was a highlighted question

it is not a required filed.

 

 

If it shows as required, it is because you have ticked the box next to the airplane.

It's possible to add 2 flights number on the tdac flight number info? If the flight to Thailand has also one connecting flight before the arrival into the country. Just to avoid possible issues at the immigration

I'm pretty sure I saw an answer to this or similar question already.  The flight on the TDAC is the flight you arrive on.  That's all you need to do.  If asked for a boarding pass that is the one you will show.  You can fit 10 characters in the flight number field so you could cram 2 flights in there, but for what purpose?

So if for example you start to fly from UK, you should add UK on the country where you boarded, while you should add the connecting flight to Thailand as flight number, does it look fine like that?

I'd put the country the arriving flight came from. But suspect at the end of the day it is of no consequence.

Yesterday, I made a mock run with that TDAC sight.

 

Unlike weeks ago, it now has Thailand as the country of residence.

Just put the number of the last flight, that is all they need.

If you fly London to Bangkok on Emirates for example you just enter the flight number of the last leg: Dubai to Bangkok. No need to overthink things, just use the flight number of the flight you arrived in Thailand on.

Agreed, but my last few boarding cards have been combined cards for the two flights so checking one of these would show my full trip history.

Without reading all of this:- I have just successfully completed the Digital Arrival and have the PDF and email copies transferred to my phone. No access to a printer. Will the QR code suffice?

 

EDIT:- Very easy process seeing as though I put my return date as mid 2027 and an "UNKNOWN" into flight number field and it was lodged from the "deserts" which were once grazing land in a dry South Australia.

Nobody has used one yet to find out immigration's interpretation, but if you read the email it mentions "You may choose to download or print a copy of this and retain it for the duration of your stay" which indicates to me it's not compulsory to have a print out.

The QR code will suffice.

It would be great if you can report back after entry. I'm curious to know if they ask to see it or if it's all on their system once they scan your passport.
