The sicko has done this before. History, psychology and criminology all suggest this poor deluded dude was not his first victim.

I doubt Transgenderism had anything to do with the whole shebang. Just another psycho.

UPDATE
Chinese National “Tongyuan” Re-Enacts Gruesome Murder  in Pattaya

In a case that has shocked the nation, Chinese national Mr. Tongyuan Fu, 42, was taken under heavy police guard to re-enact the brutal killing of a 25-year-old transgender, “Mina” (also known as “Note”), whose mutilated body was discovered in the bathroom of a Pattaya hotel on 26 April.

The suspect, initially refusing to cooperate with police, later confessed after forensic evidence, including the victim’s mobile phone found in his possession, proved damning. He claimed that Mina had refused his advances after agreeing to accompany him to his room, which led to a violent altercation. Enraged after being kicked and suffering a broken front tooth, Tongyuan admitted to pressing his knee into Mina’s neck until she lost consciousness. He then dragged her body into the bathroom, where he used scissors to cut her body open, removing her breast implants and heart, allegedly out of a grotesque curiosity inspired by crime series he had watched.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Thawatkiat Jindakornsano, Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, alongside Pol. Col. Anake Sarathongyoo, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, led a team of more than 20 officers in conducting the re-enactment at the crime scene, attracting large crowds of onlookers.

The reenactment was also carried out at 3 additional locations:

A nearby discount store where Tongyuan had purchased a black rubbish bag pack, two rainbow bags, scissors, and two hammock ropes on the night before the murder.

The Pattaya North bus station where he arranged travel to the airport.

The South Pattaya beach area near Walking Street, where he first met the victim and exchanged contact details via the WeChat application.

During the re-enactment at the bus station, the victim’s father, Mr. Auan, aged 61, along with other family members, attempted to confront the suspect. Mr. Auan struck Tongyuan in the face with a plastic bottle before collapsing, needing assistance from police officers.

Speaking through tears, Mr. Auan recalled his child’s dedication. Four years ago, Mina had gone to Taiwan to study Chinese, later returning to Pattaya, where she worked and regularly sent 10,000 baht home each month. Mina had recently completed building a house for her parents and had promised to take them on a trip to China, a dream now shattered by her untimely death.

Tongyuan who was arrested by Immigration Police at Suvarnabhumi Airport just hours after the body was discovered, as he prepared to board a flight to Kunming, Yunnan Province. He confessed through an interpreter that after Mina refused to engage in sexual activity or refund the agreed fee of 8,000 baht, a violent argument ensued. Following the killing, he admitted to “playing with the body” and sleeping next to it before fleeing.

Despite the shocking nature of the crime, police ruled out human trafficking or organ trading motives, citing that the removal of organs appeared to be driven by macabre curiosity rather than commercial intent. However, they await forensic confirmation regarding any missing body parts.

Tongyuan faces charges of murder and theft. Authorities have not found evidence suggesting he suffered from psychiatric disorders, despite his bizarre actions and his claim that the scissors were purchased purely for self-defence.

sounds like he planned this beforehand - this sicko needs thorough investigation both here, in China, and other places he has visited

A Chinese man has been arrested at a Bangkok airport after allegedly murdering and attempting to dismember a transgender in a hotel in Central Pattaya, authorities confirmed on the afternoon of 26 April.

At approximately 11:00 on 26 April, Pol. Col. Anek Sarathongyu, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, alongside Pol. Lt. Col. Arut Saphanont, Deputy Superintendent of Investigations, and other officers, responded to reports of a deceased person at a hotel located in Pattaya, Chonburi Province.

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered the body of a transgender, concealed inside a bathroom on the second floor of the building. Officers immediately sealed off the area and called in forensic experts and medical examiners to conduct a thorough investigation.

Initial examinations of the room revealed a large clothing bag, scissors, and other equipment believed to have been intended for use in concealing or dismembering the body. No unauthorised persons were allowed to enter the scene during the investigation.

Preliminary enquiries established that the room had been rented one week prior by a Chinese man, later identified as Mr Tongyung Fu, aged 42. According to other guests, a loud and prolonged altercation was heard emanating from the room at around 01:00 and lasted about an hour. Witnesses reported hearing desperate cries for help during the disturbance, but no one intervened.

In the morning, concerned by the lack of response from the room, the hotel owner attempted to make contact by knocking on the door. Receiving no reply, they entered the room and made the grim discovery.

Further investigations and CCTV footage showed the suspect leaving the hotel with a suitcase at 06:00. This led Pattaya Police to swiftly coordinate with Immigration authorities. Mr Tongyung Fu was intercepted at the airport just as he was preparing to board an international flight out of Thailand. He was taken into custody without incident and is being transported back to Pattaya to face charges.

Authorities are awaiting the results of a full forensic examination to determine the exact cause of death. Mr Tongyung Fu is expected to be formally charged with murder and related offences in connection with the incident.

The investigation is ongoing as police piece together the circumstances surrounding the horrific crime.

Tragic story.

Possible scenario:

The Chinese man invites a beautiful girl into his room to spend the night with him.

And then the big (or tiny) surprise. The girl got a penis.

He was outraged being deceived and disappointed at the same time.

So he took a knife and killed her, also cut off this for him unwanted tool.

2 wasted lives at the end.🥺

Or seeking to remove organs to send back to China for their transplant operations and picking up some dosh on the side.

The scary thing is that he'd probably still be on the loose had he scooted for the Laos border, paid an agent, and gotten on a train.  Or just blended in in Cambodia or Laos.

Not condoning the deadly reaction at all, but again, I think they need to move all the transgenders and ladyboys to an area on the very edge of Pattaya, clearly marked in various languages, and not mixed in with female sex workers on walking street or adjacent sois. That way, whomever wants that kind of kink, knows where to go.

As is, at the very least, it can create confusion for some naive tourist like this Chinese guy, at worst it can lead to violence when they go back the hotel and the punter learns the 'lady' has a bigger st1ffy than him. Then there's all the fights with the transvestites and drunk punters on walking street (and Soi Bangla in Phuket).

There was no confusion. The murderer intentionally selected the victim and murdered the victim for personal gratification.

Seriously, don't you reed? This was a planned murder. The fiend went about purchasing the instruments of his crime before he lured the victim.

Victim blaming at  its worst

How about men cease with violence, would that be a better solution?

That's almost as appalling as what the Chinese guy did. Are prolonged screams for help so common in this hotel that they're routinely ignored?

Typical non-response these days - nobody wants to get involved. Could someone not have just called the police? Oh, sorry, this is Pattaya, the family friendly resort and all of the police will have been out and about in the streets keeping law and order!

The victim may not of had a very good postop operation, whereas it didn’t look like the real deal. Along with the breast implants this could of triggered the Chinese guy into a fit of rage.

If I heard calls for help I would certainly do something about it, pity no one responded

True. Noone can be expected to play the hero, many of us are far too old for that anyway.

But a call to the police shouldn't be too much to ask when someone's screaming for help.

This killer would likely get the death penalty in earlier times. However, given his brutal murder of a Thai, his chances of surviving in a Thai jail are remote.

Im the first one to affirm that transgenderism is a mental illness, but dead is dead and by all indications, this was a crime committed by a sickie and the victim was not victimized because of who he was.

I reiterate. This wasnt the dudes first rodea.
