US measles cases climb higher, approach 900

April 26, 2025

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) today reported 84 more measles cases, boosting the national total to 884, keeping the nation on pace to experience its worst year since the nation eliminated the disease in 2000. [emphasis added]

So far, 30 jurisdictions have reported cases, up 5 from the previous week. One more outbreak was reported, bringing that total to 11, the largest one centered in West Texas. The CDC said 820 (83%) of the cases so far are part of outbreaks.

Among those infected, 97% were unvaccinated or have unknown vaccination status. So far, 94 patients have been hospitalized, and the number of deaths remains at 3. [emphasis added]

The "unknown status" portion is a relatively small share of the cases, compared to the much larger known unvaccinated status.

Nice try, but no cigar....

Per the CDC in its most recent April 24 measles outbreak report:

"Overall, 771 (96%) patients have been unvaccinated or had unknown vaccination status (77% were unvaccinated, and 14% had unknown vaccination status."

Please point me to where it says that.

In any case, 900 cases is not significant, and nor are three deaths (one of which is confirmed not caused by measles but by medical malpractice).

Detail and source posted above in my updated post... unlike your unsourced claim about one of the measles deaths.

Indeed!

Simply fear-porn to get the trust back for vaccinations.

The big fear among the white-coats, is the Kennedy will get the truth out. That will end their lublee-jubblee jab bonuses

Measles is a set of symptoms. Not unlike other similar complaints. Nothing to do with a virus causing a disease..

The symptoms are the body detoxifying. Unlikely to be eradicated while there is wide-spread poor diet among children. And toxins all around.

The CDC should take a deep breath of scientific fresh-air. An utter disgrace IMO.

I notice that the linked article doesn't mention the immigration status of the afflicted.

Not hard to believe that, of 10-20 million unvetted illegals, 800 or 900 may be carrying a gift from the 3rd world.

Interesting comment Sir.

Must ask; 'what are vaccines actually for?' There is, for me, no meeting in the middle. Both can't be right. I am firmly in the camp that says a vaccine has never been shown to be safe. Never been shown to be effective. Never been shown to be necessary.

Why? Well, let's go back to 'what vaccines are for'. ask just about any white-coat, and they will mutter something about diseases and viruses. Very few will give a realistic and truthful reply.

Vaccines are as far away from medical science as it's possible to be, IMO.

Nature has the answers we seek.

Science wasnt politicized when vaccines were introduced. I trust the vaccines proven thru time

Whats the point of the thread, to attack RFK? 2025 is not the worse since 2000, its only 900 cases now.. the population is 300+ million

Indeed! Politicised and monetised.

I don't care if anyone trust the vaxxes. Keep them away from little kids.

Proven thru time??!! Nonsense, IMO.

What Kennedy should do it re-visit the experiments that showed visuses cause disease. With independent observers. and control groups. I've a funny feeling the results will not be the same.

Ive encountered people in thailand with polio who wouldve liked the vaccine when they were kids, but their families couldnt afford it. If i never went to the third world i might have turned out antivax like you

So it's a good thing more people will die or be impaired long-term, as long as your anti-vax agenda is served.

Have you ever had a MMPI? They might have to create a new category for you.

Please explain how defunding the CDC would result in people dying or being impaired long-term.

And what this has to do with MMPI?

Vaccines don't work, vaccines are a scam, vaccines are a pox on civilization. Whoops, measles are actually going up, I need to think that one over.

No, they are not. Look at the data over the past decades. Which means the media is lying.

what he really said…

”We’ve had four measles deaths in this country in 20 years. We have 100,000 autism cases a year. We have 38% of our kids now are diabetic or pre-diabetic. That should be in the headlines,   When I was a kid, there were 2 million measles cases a year and none of them got headlines. And we had 400 deaths. We had deaths between 1 in 1,200 and 1 in 10,000. We have so many kids now who are afflicted by chronic disease. And the media never covers them. They only want to cover measles”

https://nypost.com/2025/04/30/us-news/rfk-jr-says-diabetes-chronic-illnesses-pose-existential-threat-not-measles/

I think he also mentioned that Canada, with a tiny fraction of the US population, has just as many measles cases and Europe has 10x as many as the USA.

But Orange Man Bad.

Personally, I think it's related to unvetted immigration from the 3rd world.  Does that make me a racist?

Where did you come up with these silly theories? Even RFK said the best way to avoid measles is vaccination.

Show him an image of a virus under a scanning electron microscope, he will still deny its existence.

He's at the same IQ level as flat earthers.
