Unfortunately the propaganda mills known as Fox News, News Max and the like have their viewership hooked on their scare tactic, hot button BS.

So what are your so called news sources?

Why is this man in the oval office instead of a padded room?

He was elected.

Reminds me of this from MASH the movie (1970):

Hotlips O'Houlihan: [to Father Mulcahy, referring to Hawkeye] I wonder how a degenerated person like that could have reached a position of responsibility in the Army Medical Corps!

Father Mulcahy: [looks up from his Bible] He was drafted.

Imagine if any other president had said that. The impeachment based on insanity would  soon be forthcoming.

But any other President would not have been believed, even by his most ardent followers!

They would have thought it was a comedy sketch at the Correspondents Dinner!

If Trump says he is more popular than Jezus he will probably get away with it.

I wish he did try that whilst trying to walk on a crocodile infested river!

:sorry:

Americans are always full of themselves.

The majority don’t have a passport, have no idea what happens outside America and a simple folk.

There is some truth there.

Too many ignorant easily fooled people and you get someone like Trump in power.

The longtime Democratic strategist (James Carville) says his party should “apologize to the world for being so goddamn stupid” and losing to Donald Trump for a second time.

To stop the usual arguments;

As of the most recent passport data for the 2024 fiscal year, Excluding passport cards, between 45% and 50% of all Americans have a passport

More inane sane washing

The US has always been a bullying nation.

Even if you get an Obama-type orator in there who is always polite, behind the scenes there is ruthless maneuvering to maintain its position at the world's most powerful country.

Trump is just crass enough to openly admit it.

I don't even think "superpowers" should exist.

Agree with Carville of course on that and many other things.

He does run the country and determines war and peace, global trade.

He's not wrong.

Yet he couldn't stop the war in Ukraine in one hour and besides 209 penguins now each proudly sporting their own separate trade deals no country has signed a deal yet.

Trump is basically blowing American power probably permanently.
Reserve currency? Going away much quicker.

Good works good will aid to poor nations soft power good PR. Killed by Trump. Now China will grab that.

Basically the world is uniting AGAINST the U.S.

What he's actually "controlling" is an incredibly rapid decline of American empire.

Why don't you write him a letter and tell him what you really think?

He won't read it, but you'll feel a lot better.
