A heartwarming incident unfolded on the streets of Thailand, exemplifying the compassionate spirit of the Thai people. A foreign woman experiencing a seizure by the roadside was immediately aided by nearby Thais, sparking praise and gratitude.

Documented in a TikTok video by user @guyslumclub, the incident occurred after the poster closed their noodle shop, Ann’s Kuay Teow Khua Gai, Baanthat Thong. Spotting the foreign woman in distress, they promptly provided first aid and contacted Thailand’s emergency services.

The video, which has since gained attention online, humorously plugs the noodle shop while capturing the swift response of locals who rushed to the woman's aid with supplies such as inhalants and fans. Among those assisting was the woman's companion, ensuring her safety until emergency responders arrived.

The video resonated with many viewers, who commended the Thai locals for their kindness and empathy. The incident serves as a poignant reminder of the goodwill and readiness to help that characterizes the local community.

In their post, the TikTok user thanked local businesses and individuals who contributed supplies to aid the woman, now recovering in stable condition at the hospital. They also shared crucial first aid advice, emphasizing not to insert objects into the mouth during a seizure and advising instead to position the individual on their side while awaiting medical help.

This demonstration of unity and care underscores the welcoming spirit of Thailand and reminds us of the strength found in community support during emergencies.

The most important action is to do nothing. Just lay down the person. That's it.

Recovery position is important to keep airway open.

So no recovery position?

No, don't try to stretch muscles. That's contraindicated

Well, never heard of that, first aid courses I did was always recovery position, but I'm happy to accept your advice.  Cardiac arrest of course would need CPR , so not recovery position 👌

If this moment had happened in America, I think the outcome would have been the opposite.

well,  if it happened in some parts of Africa or Venezuela you'd probably be robbed.  :burp:

I was in a Moto accident years ago near Crazy House and the response from the locals was overwhelming. The only annoying part was the "oiiiiiis" and women yelling orders at the men.
