what happened was simple, the poor guy already drunk, saw a pretty ladyboy, invited to join him, the ladyboy massaged his parts, then when it's time to go have real fun, the guy already came on his pants.

If he/she has a bank account he/she can accept a phone transfer.  Money moves faster and easier within Thailand than nearly anywhere in the world -- Thailand has that process nailed down.  And maybe he was having a legitimate problem with his phone.

From the article it is not entirely clear, how inebriated this person was. I have, withoiut all that much problem, created bills quite a bit larger than this without being drunk afterwards.

Didn't the government introduce a 500 baht or something tax hidden in all airline tickets as insurance as nasty tourists kept on needing medical treatment but didn't have any insurance. I'm sure that took care of it. 🙂
