A night out at a popular hotpot restaurant in Central Pattaya turned into chaos as a heated argument escalated into a violent brawl, leaving three individuals hospitalised and diners in disbelief.

Not even a tiny bit of outrage ?

I moved back my house in Bangkok recently, 38 kms from the city centre. I'm now living in a very large estate and after living in my condo in PattayaI can't believe how quiet it is here. The people here are very polite and ultra friendly a far cry from the trash that's hit Pattaya since Covid. I first hit Pattaya 25 years ago if only Pattaya would return to those days. Sure people got really hammered at times but they didn't have the desire to hurt somebody really badly as it is now.

Hospital? For a minor fight wound! Ffs! They would be waiting for 24 hours in the UK and then get sent away for wasting the nurses time.

Yes that is surprisiing. No thai netizens outrage on this story

I doubt any Thai netizens post on AN.
Try the thai forums and Facebook if you need some.

Transgender is American woke BS but this is Pattaya so they are Ladyboys.  Please show some respect!

Be careful what you say online, I got into an online spat with a Thai ladyboy, she insisted foreigners should call them transgender, I responded with katoey, Thai for ladyboy, if they want to change it, start with retraining Thai's, because us farang only call them what they call themselves... Besides transgender is a generic term covering a multitude of types, this "woman" got quite upset posting a few videos condemning me...

And here I was tricked into believing that it was the "Free 60 day" stamps that were responsible for all the problems in Pattaya and Phuket !

Surely this group must actually be foreigners posing as locals because we know locals would never act like this !

more thai violence, maybe the thai should be on a short visa,  get a T 30, fill in information cards when they enter a restaurant ,  oh thats right,,, its always the farang that cause such problems, when its thai,, the thai authority and people seem to go very quiet .

Yes, and it ain’t pretty.

Many of the older short time rooms have dodgy plumbing that goes straight into the drains and into the sea. And many of the illegal buildings on the west side of walking street.

While it is soapy much of the sperm, urine and fecaes gets washed into the sea creating a unique blend of those three ingredients with flavors from all around the globe creating an international taste that is unique to Pattaya.

Too much information.

Hot pot, or hot spot?

Hot Pot is  a favourite with Thais where few farang go. Consequently always worth a visit. They often specialise in fresh seafood which you choose/select yourself then cook at your own table often ' broiling' in a large soup pan with plenty of herbs and greens added.

I think TAT might have it wrong. There's a building boom in Pattaya, the beaches are full- even the ' secret ones'. I understand TAT are fretting about losing Chinese tourists but the solution to that is to open some casino and and develop some race tracks. Then the Chinese will come flocking back.
