As Bangkok gears up for the 2025 Pride Festival, agencies are rallying support under the theme "The Celebration: Right to Love," with a series of events from 30 May to 30 June. The highlight will be the much-anticipated Pride Parade on 1 June.

A press conference on 6 May, featuring co-organisers including the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), shed light on the upcoming festivities.

Pimjai Leeissaranukul, FTI vice president and Creative Industry and Soft Power Institute (Cispi) president, revealed the inspiration behind the "Paint the City with My Pride" campaign. Sparked by this year's Marriage Equality Bill passage, the initiative by Cispi and the Creative Economy Agency seeks to highlight gender inclusivity while boosting the economy, despite no specific financial figures being available.

The campaign features collaborations with leading Thai character designers. These artists will infuse works with traditional and pop culture elements, showcasing societal diversity. The resulting illustrations will adorn various products and items.

According to TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Thailand is positioning itself as the ultimate LGBTQ+ tourism destination. The concurrent "Amazing Thailand Love Wins Festival" will expand Pride celebrations to key tourist spots, including Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Bangkok, Phuket, and Pattaya, with events spanning ten additional provinces.

"We must ensure Thailand is an ideal LGBTQ+ destination beyond just Pride Month," Thapanee emphasised.

Surapong Suebwonglee, Deputy Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister, stressed that the government supports diversity and equality through soft power strategies and fostering a creative culture. He highlighted diversity as a crucial economic driver, especially during times when new growth engines are essential.

This vibrant campaign and series of events promise to raise awareness and bolster economic activity, reaffirming Thailand's commitment to equality and inclusion.

All of you always had the right to love. Don´t make it bigger than it is.

Your comment makes sense to those who are terminally literal.

The implied meaning obviously is that Thailand has joined the civilized world in formal legal recognition of same sex relationships which indeed is very big civil rights thing to those that change impacts.

Yes lets erase people that are different from you.

That's the ticket.

Yeah, foreigner in Cambodia moaning about something in another country that won't affect him.

The great joy of Pride is listening to miserable old farangs here moaning about how it's upsetting them. Always amusing.

It's very weird, isn't it?

There are lots of parades and festivals I don't attend because I'm just not interested.

That's all. Isn't that enough?

I generally don't go to the gay ones either.

Seen one, seen them all, as Reagan said about redwood trees (ha ha).

Ahh yes, the  flabby jealous miserable brigade came out to complain. Admit it. You envy those buff  toned young men who do not need a bra like some of you. You haven't been able to see your  feet in 20 years and you can't have sex unless you pay for it and take a super 100 mg dose of  ED suppressant. Maybe lay off the fried food, cheap beer, stop smoking and do some exercise.

Not always. The Europeans pushed their repressive religions and  mores on others insisting that only certain  love and  within specific  parameters was allowed.

They literally spoil pure love with this same-sex madness 👎🏳️‍🌈

You obviously do not understand the concept of love.

You  do not need to attend their event. And as far labeling anyone mentally ill, you obviously have no self awareness , nor understand how you are  seen. And considering your dependency on cannabis, you really should work on your own life first.

Practice first on you. Try washing some of your ignorance away.

You have some odd fantasies.

Google is your friend. If you can think of it, some disturbed fetishists are doing it.

I think one can draw the line between love and shoving ones tongue up some fat hairy guys bunghole while wearing leather and making your partner call you Mommy

I wont LOL

Seen by who? Losers on the internet?

I think that if a normal regular family was presented with a choice of having their kid smoke weed or having him dye his hair purple and play puppy in a bath house they would spark up a doobie

"I think one can draw the line between love and shoving ones tongue up some fat hairy guys bunghole while wearing leather and making your partner call you Mommy"

In spite of what you say you either know a lot about gay sex or have some pretty elaborate fantasies about it.

Of course,

you are ungay...

but do you find yourself inexplicably drawn to comment on discussions of gay events?

Maybe even comment multiple times?

But as you say, you are ungay.

So whats your point bro? Suppose I was googling all sorts of sick homosexual fantasies, what does that show to you? Would it be like looking at a Gore website? Or watch cop shooting videos? Or read My Secret Life or Kraft_Ebbing or The Arabian Nights? Could it be intellectual interest? Employment necessity? What if I realized I was sick and wacking off to Goat Boy in Pattaya Videos, then fleeing to a Priest to Confess? Or maybe I learned it all years ago and was cured?

So whats your snide little point?

BTW, ever seen Crime Scene Photos? Read a criminal autopsy report? Or a confession?
