A chilling mystery has emerged in Pattaya following the discovery of an unidentified man's body washed up on the beach late Sunday morning. This incident echoes recent tragic occurrences in Phuket, adding to the region's unsettled atmosphere.

 

The deceased, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old, was found face down on Pattaya Beach near Soi 13, clad in a black T-shirt with foreign writing and denim shorts. Initial assessments revealed injuries to his right eyelid and cheekbone, accompanied by blood around the nose and mouth and foam at the lips. These signs suggest potential drowning or hint at foul play, prompting further investigation.

 

The distress call was first raised by a local speedboat operator who noticed the body floating offshore. In response, Pattaya’s Marine Disaster Prevention Division swiftly carried out a search, eventually finding the man washed ashore. Authorities have confiscated a mobile phone found with the body, which could provide crucial insights into the circumstances leading to this mysterious death.

 

The body has been sent to Pattaya Patthamakhun Hospital for a comprehensive autopsy to ascertain the cause of death, while efforts are also ongoing to identify the victim. This mysterious case adds to a series of eerily similar incidents in the area, compelling police to look into any potential connections among them.

 

As the investigation unfolds, authorities remain vigilant in piecing together the events surrounding this tragic death, aiming to deliver answers and prevent future tragedies.
