Politics Ex-Thai PM Yingluck Condemns 10 Billion Baht Court Order, Calls It "Deeply Unjust"

The court has ordered her to recompense approximately 10 billion baht (£228 million) as damages related to her administration’s controversial rice-pledging scheme. The Op leaves out some important information.

Like te fact that this 10b is 27b less than what was originally been ordered to pay in a previous court hearing. She expected that this appeal would cancel that. This is the highest court setting the fines now. She must pay it which is why she is whining about it. 

Surely there is information the average person do not know about that made all but the lower courts make her liable for such amounts. The lower courts that did nothing could have easily been controlled by the Thaksin family. 

These higher courts are not so easily ( or cheaply ) controlled.
