On May 16, 2025, I arrived in Thailand from Barcelona, but immigration officers denied me entry, and I had to return to Barcelona.

How long have you been in Thailand in the last five years ?

These days you either need a visa and pay guaranteed entry to get into Thailand

I've contacted the central immigration office in Bangkok. That's the contact the embassy referred to me.

I don't have many expectations for a response. Just like the immigration officer who denied my entry, when I asked if he could tell me the reason for the denial, he only replied, "You won't be entering the country today.

I have friends who told me to use "fast track" and come now, and other friends tell me I should first find out if I have a ban. The agents I've contacted don't give any importance to whether I have a ban or not.

I prefer the second option: first find out if I've been banned and then apply for a visa to gain access.

Si estás en la lista negra, ¿debería indicarlo en tu pasaporte? ¿O lo veo mal?

Some people say it's posible you are ban but they not put nothing in the passport but yes inthe inmigration system.

Did you get any form of "denied entry" stamp in your passport? Or for that matter, any paperwork whatever to sign?

Please post an image of same.

Sorry, I'm just guessing. I have no idea how it works.

But if you had left and forgot to inform immigration, you would have proof on your passport of an entry stamp to Spain at that time? And I would try sending a copy of that to Thai Immigration to explain what happened and ask for some sort of "pardon" so they don't blacklist you.

Dumb question.

Why did you change passport??

Is your name likely to have been confused with someone else?

My old passport was expiring in February of the following year and I decided to renew it now that I was in Spain.

I have visited Thailand about 20 times in the last 15 years and have never had any problems with immigration so I don't think my name are confused with someone else but who knows ,,,,

Make no difference , your entry history will show up on their screens , new passport of not .

Its all done digitally now , don't even get a stamp in your PP when departing

If you're not blacklisted, and know what remark(s) they put into their system, please give us a hint, as no-one really seems to know what is in there. (From experience I know that there must be some remark they add to your 'profile' once they want to refuse you, cause shortly after I (almost) got refused at one Bangkok airport, I experienced the same at the other, and even a third entry point.)

Waste of time contacting immigration as your best bet is to get in touch with an immigration lawyer in Thailand if you want answers as many of them have contacts in immigration. Just don't be a fool thinking you can enter with a new passport as all your history is in the computer.

That's what I want, if anyone has been in a similar situation I would appreciate it if you could give me the contact information of the lawyer who helped you.
