Chinese Man Shot by Compatriot Near Pattaya, Gunman in Custody

A violent altercation between a group of Chinese nationals resulted in gunfire and one serious injury in the Huay Yai area of Bang Lamung district, Chonburi, on 31 May. The suspect was later arrested following a police operation that lasted over 30 minutes.

Ukrainian Dies After Fall from Phuket Villa Rooftop Pool

A 28-year-old Ukrainian woman has died following a fatal fall from the rooftop pool terrace of a luxury villa in Chalong, Phuket, in the early hours of the morning of 31 May.

The Royal Thai Army has dismissed speculation in the Thai media, that border crossings with Cambodia will be closed imminently, stating that the situation along the Thai-Cambodian border remains calm and under control.

Police are intensifying their investigation into a violent altercation between Chinese nationals that escalated into a shooting in the Huay Yai area of Pattaya, Chonburi province. The incident has since revealed a deeper layer of criminal activity, with a quantity of illegal drugs discovered during the inquiry.
