Foreign National Sparks Debate in Patong After Public Urination Incident

This behavior in a lot of conservative US states would get you arrested, charged with a sex crime, labelled a sex offender, thrown into prison, and once out that sex offender label would follow the guy around the rest of his life.  I.e., in Texas, Florida, and Georgia.

Examples or criminal charges (see at bottom of page for list of criminal sanctions in Florida)
Indecent Exposure, Public Lewdness, Lewd or Lascivious Behavior, Public Indecency, Obscenity

With that said, this freak should be found, arrested, and deported.  This behavior would not be accepted in his home country and his behavior creates problems for the rest of us.

Granted though, pulling your car or MC over and peeing on the side of the road is very common here in Thailand if done discreetly.  What I don't appreciate is when it is made into a big deal if a farang is doing it which happens too often.  Discretion is the key word.
However, hanging your Johnson outside your pants and peeing while walking down the street is exhibitionist behavior, it's inherently sexual in nature, it's deviancy, and should be treated as such by the Thai police.  This dude needs a swift kick in the balls.  Then deported.

Criminal Sanctions in Florida for the purposes of providing an example of who similar behavior in that state would be handled by the police and a district attorney.
  1. Indecent Exposure:
    • Statute: Florida Statute § 800.03 ("Exposure of sexual organs").
    • Description: Intentionally exposing genitals in a public place or on private premises visible to the public in a vulgar or indecent manner.
    • Sanctions:
      • Classification: First-degree misdemeanor.
      • Penalties:
        • Up to 1 year in jail.
        • Up to $1,000 fine.
        • Possible probation or community service.
      • Sex Offender Registration: Required for a second or subsequent conviction (Florida Statute § 943.0435).
      • Enhanced Penalties: If the exposure occurs in the presence of a minor under 16, it may be charged as Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition (see below), a felony with harsher penalties.
  2. Public Lewdness:
    • Statute: Florida does not use the exact term "Public Lewdness" but addresses similar conduct under Florida Statute § 800.03 (Exposure of Sexual Organs) or § 796.07 (Prohibiting Prostitution and Related Acts, which can include lewd acts in public).
    • Description: Engaging in sexually explicit or offensive acts in public, such as exposing genitals with sexual intent. In Florida, this is typically prosecuted under Indecent Exposure or Lewd or Lascivious Behavior statutes.
    • Sanctions (aligned with § 800.03 for exposure-related acts):
      • Classification: First-degree misdemeanor.
      • Penalties:
        • Up to 1 year in jail.
        • Up to $1,000 fine.
        • Possible probation or community service.
      • Sex Offender Registration: Required for a second or subsequent conviction.
      • Note: If the act involves prostitution or public sexual activity, § 796.07 may apply, with penalties ranging from second-degree misdemeanor (up to 60 days in jail and $500 fine) to felonies for repeat offenses.
  3. Lewd or Lascivious Behavior:
    • Statute: Florida Statute § 800.04 (Lewd or Lascivious Offenses).
    • Description: Includes acts like exposing genitals in a lewd or lascivious manner, especially in the presence of a minor under 16, or engaging in sexual acts in public. The most relevant subsection is § 800.04(7) (Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition).
    • Sanctions (for Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition, e.g., exposing genitals to a minor under 16):
      • Classification: Second-degree felony (if victim is under 16).
      • Penalties:
        • Up to 15 years in prison.
        • Up to $10,000 fine.
        • Mandatory sex offender registration (Florida Statute § 943.0435).
        • Possible probation or community control with strict conditions (e.g., no contact with minors).
      • Enhanced Penalties: If the offender is over 18 and the victim is under 12, penalties may increase, and the offense may be classified as a first-degree felony (up to 30 years or life, depending on the act).
  4. Public Indecency:
    • Statute: Florida does not have a specific "Public Indecency" statute but addresses similar conduct under § 800.03 (Exposure of Sexual Organs) or § 877.03 (Breach of the Peace/Disorderly Conduct).
    • Description: Non-sexual public acts like urination or nudity that violate community standards may be charged as disorderly conduct, while sexual acts fall under indecent exposure or lewd behavior.
    • Sanctions (for non-sexual public indecency under § 877.03, Disorderly Conduct):
      • Classification: Second-degree misdemeanor.
      • Penalties:
        • Up to 60 days in jail.
        • Up to $500 fine.
        • Possible community service or probation.
      • Note: If the act is deemed sexual (e.g., exposing genitals), it falls under § 800.03 (Indecent Exposure) with the penalties listed above, including potential sex offender registration for repeat offenses.
  5. Obscenity:
    • Statute: Florida Statute § 847.011 (Prohibiting Obscene Material) and § 847.0133 (Obscenity Involving Minors).
    • Description: Engaging in or distributing obscene acts or materials in public, including sexually explicit performances or displays that appeal to prurient interest and lack serious artistic, literary, or scientific value.
    • Sanctions:
      • General Obscenity (§ 847.011):
        • Classification: Third-degree felony for distributing or performing obscene acts.
        • Penalties:
          • Up to 5 years in prison.
          • Up to $5,000 fine.
          • Possible probation.
        • Sex Offender Registration: Not typically required unless the act involves minors.
      • Obscenity Involving Minors (§ 847.0133):
        • Classification: Third-degree felony for exposing minors to obscene materials or acts.
        • Penalties:
          • Up to 5 years in prison.
          • Up to $5,000 fine.
          • Mandatory sex offender registration.
        • Enhanced Penalties: If the act involves producing or distributing obscene material depicting minors, it may escalate to a second-degree or first-degree felony under related statutes (e.g., § 847.0135), with up to 15–30 years in prison.

All fine an dandy but we are in Thailand, nothing to do with US laws.

Which is why this guy has his dick in his hands and is peeing as he walks down the street.

Is this you jvs?  Maybe so, 'eh?  You obviously condone this sick behavior because "we're in Thailand and not the US."  So hanging your pecker out and spraying away is perfectly fine and dandy according to you.

 We're not in the US. We can do anything we want!  Ha ha ha!"

Like hanging your Johnson out of your pants and peeing while you walk down the street.  "Hell - that's OK."  Shagging your female friend on the beach.  "Hell, it's Thailand, we can do anything here."  Hummm.  That explains why this deviant is engaged in deviant public acts of lewdness.  "This is Thailand - I can do anything I want.  Arg Arg Arg!"

There is no excuse for this behavior whatsoever...    I am with those who would suggest, track down, fine and deport this imbecile.

That said.. the "Tarnishing the reputation of Thailand" angle is a bit rich - Thailand has a very specific reputation which actively attracts such tourists and that reputation is Thailands 'money maker'...

Does Thailand think they can prevent this kind behavior by arrival card system???

Buddha only knows what he gets up to if he reports 90 days in person?🙃🙃

There is a Thai guy in our soi who does exactly the same and has been doing so for the past 15 years.  He doesn't care who sees him and no one (except me maybe) seems to care about him.

At least he wipes his hands afterwards (in his hair haha).

No i do not condone this behaviour at all but telling every one what would happen if you did this in the US

does not help any one now does it?

Because this is Thailand and Thai laws apply.

I live far away from any tourists area so i can avoid idiots like that but that does not mean i do not come across idiots on the internet.
