Report Thai Food to Reach Space with CPF’s Historic Chicken Launch

In a groundbreaking achievement for Thailand, CP Foods (CPF) is set to send its renowned chicken dish, "Gai Kaphrao" (chicken with holy basil), to astronauts aboard the International Space Station on June 9, 2025. This initiative marks the first-ever delivery of Thai cuisine to space, showcasing the exceptional safety and quality standards of Thai food production.

 

The milestone is underscored by the dish's Space Food Standard certification, granted by both Axiom Space and NASA, demonstrating CPF’s adherence to the stringent requirements necessary for space travel. In collaboration with Voyager Space and Axiom Space, CPF's "CP Chicken" will be aboard the Axiom-4 mission, scheduled to launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

 

This venture not only highlights CPF’s innovation but also elevates Thailand’s reputation in the global market as a leading chicken exporter, where it currently ranks third worldwide.

 

To commemorate this historic event, the launch will be streamed live on CPF and CP Brand Facebook pages, offering everyone a chance to witness Thai culinary excellence extend beyond Earth’s boundaries. The move is a testament to the growing global influence of Thai cuisine, taking a piece of Thailand to the universe.

Kra Pao" is the Thai name of Holy basil,  

They better don't make this dish Hot (Like Lady Digger) otherwise if the astronauts aren't used to Hot Thai Food there be some unexpected consequences to deal with.  🙏
