Bloomberg: China Considers Ordering Hundreds of Airbus Jets in Major Deal

Featured Replies

China was once a balanced market between Boeing and Airbus so is this considered a win in MAGA circles?

"To date, however, Boeing has been penalized in China. In April, authorities in Beijing told airlines to stop taking deliveries of Boeing jets. Trade tensions and the crises that befell the 737 Max jet date back years, and have given Airbus an upper hand in what was once a carefully balanced market between the two dominant planemakers."

During the meeting EU leaders will have with their counterparts in China later this month, not only the Airbus deal, which may be between 300 and 500 planes, be discussed, but also deals in rare earths.

Who knew that TACO was potentially not a viable business strategy!

Big surprise ✈️

Considering Boings reputation and Trump's marked strategy

I thought China was touting home made jets as their future.  Whatever.  In the end they will buy whatever best meets their needs.  Boeing or Airbus.  Some of this is probably posturing to gain leverage in the trade "conflict"  currently underway.
