There are only 2 bars in Mae Hong Son.  I was having a drink in Crossroads bar when I noticed a couple young farang women across the street.  I had seen them earlier in the day chugging large bottles of Chang.  All of a sudden, one of them drops her jeans, squats and takes a pee in the street.

The ones caucasian men most likely will have encountered are the youngish pretty deceitful Lisu lasses who in my many years of experience are in it for as much as they think they can get out of you

 

Others are the red Lahu ..  friendly but usually have been abandoned after giving birth

 

then the round faced chunky Black Lahu .. great as long as the Leo beer keeps flowing
paid for by yours truly

 

Also the Thai Yai 'Shan' ladies.. got a few horror stories from those over the years, there are
some real 'big uns' not to be messed with.. the Burmese ones light fingered

 

All of them most likely will have a addict 'brother' lurking around as everywhere else

There's a night club attached to this hotel,  doesn't get busy till after 10pm, weekend is a good time to go.

Have driven the loop a few times, beautiful scenery, and stopped at a Farang run resort/restaurant a couple of times ( cafe 123 or something like that ) can recommend.

 

As for the girls ? ….. don’t know, i take mine with me.

Yeah, I think I remember visiting a "night-club" right next to my hotel. Had a beer there. Two or three desperate MILFs were serving drinks and giving me and my wingman the glad eye. They were nice enough, at the same time bearing testimony to Thailand's inverting age pyramid and depleted night-life. A kind of experience I usually report as "no action".

 

 

Anyways, isn't the OP's title missing something? As though we Farangs would still have our pick of the local female talent in Thailand. A bunch of outspent and outbid has-beens, that's what we are now.

6 hours from Chiang Mai, but they recommend an overnight in Pai ... a bit of a trek. 

 

You can take a prop plane from Chiang Mai, takes 25 minutes.

 

People congregate around the man made lake in the middle of town when it cools in late afternoon.
