No.

TVC is excellent agent for folk living in Bangkok.

The OP lives in Pattaya.

12500 is cheapest reliable agent in Pattaya.

Also the process would be done at Jomtien immigration ie where he lives.

No brainer.

BUT with Grace you do not need turn up at immigration  🙂

and there is no public lists of agents for CW , is that correct?

That is correct, only a few agents can even "push paper" out at Chaengwattana, Most of the ones that advertise they can do it broker their people thru one of the "top tier" agents that have the actual connections there

I used Thai visa Centre for my 30 extension on my visa exemption in Bangkok.  And unknown to me they did my extension way up in Isan.  If known I would try to avoid but is there anything I should be worried about?  Too late anyways

No.

Assume you have no plans to obtain a Non O retirement from this permission of stay

Out of curiosity, how much do they charge for this service nowadays, and what's the turnaround time?

As tourists are expected to roam, getting the extension from any immigration office in Thailand is fine. But okay, you should get it wherever you're staying and attend immigration in person.

6500.  Turn around about 4 to 5 business days.  Thursday they picked up and Tuesday they dropped off.  But no pictures at immigration and done at a very obscure immigration in the sticks of Isan.  Unlike maneerat which does at Jomtien and physically takes you to immigration for pictures inside the office and significantly cheaper.  But hopefully this is the last time I'll be needing this if the DTV goes through.  Is there any real benefit to using an agent for that (legitimately)?
