Like I said, you could say the sun came up today, and because you pointed out their ignorance in other topics, they just have to follow you around, thinking putting a thumbs down on your replies will sway others. This is an adult forum, but anyone is allowed to join, which means not just those that disagree with you because they might believe their side is more valid, they have more knowledge and can prove their side with evidence, but because some were never taught respect for others, and act the same way they were taught to act as children.

Solid punch to the jaw, and they drop the knife.

Or hit them with a chair.

If you have a gun, two in the chest and one in the head.

You could keep them at bay with a sword, spear or machete.

I would think it would be better to walk away, call the police, and seeing they'll probably not do anything, find another place to live. If there's children involved, do what you can with any evidence you have, to get custody of the children. If you can't, joint custody and hope she doesn't do anything to those children. You hit, you go to jail. You kill without a good self defense, you go to jail a lot longer. Children lose both parents.

If you have no special training, this is why people get stabbed, and where a few dies because they thought they could do it. 

 

Twice I have done it in self defense, one time at a biker bar saving my friend from being stabbed in a moment of drunk anger, and one time as security where the knife came out without any notice. Had good reflexes because of specific training for these situations in army and also for my bodyguard training. 

 

Nothing a untrained person should attempt to do if not absolutely necessary or possible retreat from the situation. 

 

Hitting a woman? Why? 

 

If it's your partner, better pack up before that becomes necessary

I've never been attacked with a knife, where I had the option of a clear exit.

Normally women stand blocking the doorway and the only way out is through them.

If that ever happens, which it does somewhere around the world, you walk away, especially if there aren't any children around. In this case, the police would have to do their jobs. Quoting from the Bible might not work, as she might not be a believer in God.

I’ve been robbed a few times, once by two guys and a gal. One guy had a ten-inch French chef’s knife, the other had a shingle hammer/hatchet. 

 

I did not resist. They looked scared, and I thought about it, but all they got was my wallet with about $50 in it and ran off. 

 

Morons.  I had just bonused out and had about a $3,500 roll in my front pocket.

Yes, if I or my family were in danger. Absolutely. There are deranged and psycho women all over the world. 

 

Under less extreme circumstances, no. If things were bad, I would prefer to just walk away. Abusive relationships are not my thing. Never have been. Some guys like chaos. I much prefer harmony.

No one is designed to take hits. Practice and training helps if you do get attacked, and you might take hits better than the average man. One punch might drop most women, but not those trained, but I'm wondering how you know about fighting women. I personally know a few women who could deck many men, and they're not the bruisers you might imagine. This is why I teach my daughters to defend themselves, as many "men" are cowards and will hit a woman right off , because they seek control, and can't do it with other men. Women aren't as helpless as you believe.

Why does everyone not just walk away when they are getting robbed or raped? 

 

Someone should tell all the women and girls that get raped to just walk away.
