A village head in Si Sa Ket leads patrols to enhance safety and community confidence along the Thai-Cambodian border.

On 9th June, Bua Kan Unon, the village head of Ban Noncharoen in Si Sa Ket, deployed a 17-member village security team to patrol the Thai-Cambodian border near Khao Phra Wihan.

Their mission focuses on preventing drug-related issues, monitoring unfamiliar individuals, and bolstering local safety. The team actively patrols the area several times daily, providing a reassuring presence for the residents.

Kanajana Sanamwongthong, a local shop owner, expressed her confidence, appreciating the close attention from both district and provincial authorities.

This support helps villagers feel secure and not isolated along the frontier, allowing them to continue their lives normally without fear or panic.

Bua Kan highlighted the team's role in monitoring movement and safeguarding property every hour. This diligent oversight ensures residents feel safe and maintain their daily routines and businesses as usual.

Last time i read they pulled back the troops on both sides. Maybe the village headman should adhere to that as well.
