Bet trump was really shining today.. too bad no one cared..

Here an updated from bing Copilot comparing the numbers for the turnouts

Today

The contrast between the “No Kings” protests and Trump’s birthday military parade on June 14, 2025, was striking in both tone and turnout.

Crowd Size Estimates:

  • “No Kings” Protests: Organizers estimated that over 5 million people participated across more than 2,000 cities nationwide. Philadelphia alone reportedly drew over 100,000 demonstrators, with other major cities like Chicago and Los Angeles seeing tens of thousands1. Even small towns saw significant turnout—Pentland, Michigan, for example, had 400 protesters in a town of 800.

  • Trump’s Birthday Parade: The White House claimed attendance of 250,000, but on-the-ground estimates suggest the actual number was closer to 100,000 or fewer. Photos showed large gaps along the National Mall, and even VIP bleachers near the White House were reportedly sparse1.

Someone on another thread pointed out the little girl sitting directly behind trump.we all know how aware trump is about appearances heck his whole cabinet is appointed primarily for that purpose.we I’m sure can agree trump is to put it mildly not liked shall I say……with that hyper awareness trump has in such matters I find that seating arrangement very concerning .Would he stoop so low as to use a cute little kid as a deterrent?anyway his parade was a flop the no kings demonstrations a success….hes gotta be fuming.

Not , but it just shows you level of thinking, a despicable vile man that even thinks about the child.you need help, or perhaps a padded cell or lethal injection

You must not be aware that the military parade was only in one location. It is stupid to compare it to protests that were held in multiple locations.

It is also stupid to compare an event that does not pay for attendance to the protests that have paid performance artists in attendance.

Check your facts as your way off base. Any excuse to explain his lack of popularity with his followeres and the overwhelming popularity of the opposite view

Secondarily tge limitary did not go out of their way in promoting the event even though  a significant  Anniversary . That speaks volumes but you won't admit it now will you

Ok, compare one location, the "parade" city, and Philadelphia city alone.

I’m not sure what you are thinking to put it very very simply was trump using that kid as a deterrent to someone taking pot shots at him period all stop 🛑 what it very well might indicate is Mr trump’s thinking.after all he was the figure head of a nation who wouldn’t wear a mask during a deadly pandemic because it would smear his MAKEUP!!how many got sick or died because of that particular piece of vanity?

Check your facts

LOL, you’re NO ONE to be telling anyone to “check the facts “

If you desire I’ll post your “fact checking “

How soon one forgets.

After enough posts of proving you’re wrong will you close this thread like you did your last one when you lost face???

Don’t act like you have no idea what I’m talking about.   You and I both know know what I’m talking about.

Oh I say, but Philadelphia is a two hour drive away!

You Canadians, no sense of scale!

Were the soldiers not being paid?

That may have gone some way to explaining the lack of enthusiasm as they shuffled past the reviewing stand, out of step and wearing unpressed combats!

A definite lack of grip, and certainly no "bags of swank"!

I dont know who wrote this. Maybe AI, but as a veteran it makes me sad.

"And then there was this leaden spectacle on Saturday, June 14.

I have never experienced such a joyless, lifeless, and sterile mass event in my entire life. Grim-faced soldiers, marching past half-empty grandstands, many of them obviously wanting to be somewhere else. No bands. Little bunting. Just piped-in rock music and MAGA hats. If this truly was meant to honor the 250 years of the United States Army, all we got was an endless procession of uniformed troops looking like they’d prefer to have been at Valley Forge. The president, sitting on the reviewing stand in that weird, forward-leaning attitude that he has, rarely smiling, a skunk at his own garden party. Scores of people being funneled through cattle-runs of metal grates just for a chance to sit on the lawn of the Washington Monument and listen to bad music and speeches so dull and listless that they’d have made Demosthenes get out of the business and open an olive oil stand. I think there probably was more good feeling and genuine emotion when they took Jack Kennedy out to Arlington for the last time."

Well said. Trump and his admin that supported this pathetic disingenuous gathering (sorry can't call it a parade or a celebration). Considering it was his b day party primarily it clearly shows the level of support this buffoon garners with his cult. If he had any moral charatacter he would be ashamed but he has none. His next move will be to try to blame it on someone or something else.

Poor ego got hurt didn't it. The comparison is about the whole day and all events connected. Don't try to gas light. Trump's cult base is diminishing and hit clearly shows.

Trump was paying $1000 a head for ”space fillers” to sit and watch his dumb birthday parade and he still couldn't fill the stands. There's a craigslist ad to prove it.
