Did you have a deal with the agent that they were to handle the 90 day reports for you?

If not, I doubt the agent puts everyone’s dates in their calendar and sends out reminders.

I was supposed to file my 90 day report on the 6th June but it seems there was some kind of misunderstanding that I could submit it 14 days after due date. Now its already the 18th and I will have to pay a penalty. is it usually the responsibility of the visa agent to make sure clients file on time or responsibility of the client themselves

Do it online in 5 minutes, they even send you a reminder, why pay an agent anything?

if you have a legit visa and file your reports, immigration will remind you.

My agent goes crazy about this, which I guess is good.  Even asked me about in on Tuesday.  My next 90 day is middle of August.  In-person chat, so that's OK.  Probably has lots of clients and maybe made a mistake once..... once.....

Not all agents are the same.  Realtors are next level range of 0 to 100.   Bottom line, Nobody cares more about your money than you.  so stay on top of it.

Yes you will pay a fine 2000k.

As for "is it the agents fault".... No it's your fault for not being the least interested in keeping an eye on the ball game.

No I just asked him how to do it and he said that he will meet me at the immigration and he will show me where to get the queue. But no deal or contract

Like always in Thailand it depends where you live.

Over here in Cha-am the fine is 2000 baht with receipt,1000 baht without.

No offense however even if using agent for eg extension you need to make yourself aware of "90 day reporting"

It can be done

Online

In person

Via post.

Yes you can use an agent. However onus is on you to be aware of when it's due.

A simple Google search will direct you to gov sites and some others such as Siam Legal.

Also video guides.

Aside: folk using online reporting should NOT rely on remindeds.

Enter due date and Window open date on your Google Calendar

If you do the 90 day report on LINE ... You get a reminder 15 days b4 it is due.

It is not 100 percent reliable though ( but has reminded me the last 2 occasions ).

So also put reminders ... lots of them .. on your smart phone / tablet calender.

I have reminders to expect a reminder. 😁

And reminders each day the week before it is actually due.  There are no excuses with today 's tech.

Also I put reminders in my actual diary .. which I use a lot to keep track of sporting events I am interested in .. so look at it a lot.

I once described my over the top method, to a chap staying in my condo building.  He took the p:ss big time.   Do not blame him !

A few months later he was a bit down .. as he ferked up ... and was overdue reporting.

I just done an online report.  It did not let me log in to check if accepted or not till 3 days had passed. Kept saying log in not authorised.  But on about day 4 I got an acceptance email.  So maybe you cant check anymore .. for 3 days after reporting. You just have to be patient. B4 it said pending. Now the system seems to be to just not let you on.  Who knows !

If online is rejected .. you keep trying online .. 3 days after your first attempt. Plan Z is to go in person.

Very funny - though my agent always sends me a notification 2 weeks before it is due....

But you pay for it, immigration notifies for free as is 90 day report

Agents never take responsibility for mistakes, the onus is on the visa holder.

That's why I have not used one for years.

How hard can it be to do a 90 day report on time? They even give 7 days extra.

All is fine if online works.

If in person report is required as the case now after travel aboard then for many it can be major task if have mobility issues and dealing with eg the size of CW or long drive in other examples.

True. In my case, I call in on my way back from golf.

I was reporting online, then somehow the system kicked me out, and I can't be bothered trying to fix it.

I was not aware it had to be in person after being abroad, thanks.
