I'm not bitter.  I just always had a leaning to tanned, perfect, smooth skin.   I also have a dislike for overweight.  I like backs without flab.  Bra strings shouldn't depress into the skin more than a cm if any.  I prefer brunette's.  I think hygiene has never been an issue in either US or Th for me but I like them natural and after a day in the office over freshly showered.    I do see obesity in Thailand and read it was different in the 90's. I prefer small natural breasts.  Never went to Brazil.  Do have a fond memory with a Latina. Married 26 years the first time. It was successful is what I say despite ending.    Dating in the US at 54 was depressing.  Did have some fit women but their pale blotchy skin wasn't for me.  The Asian conquests had the looks he liked.    If a woman was fit at 50 she sure had an entitled attitude and was looking for  a richer or more generous and flashy guy than me.  They were looking for a life of vacations, nice dinners out, and maids.   Lots of broken Western women.   I'm sure I could have found happiness anywhere.   We are all here talking about Thailand so for some reason life led us here.   We all have that in common so stop attacking each other.  I did think the Britman comment was funny.  I wonder how his grow talents are?  I wish to get the CM next visit and sample.    I was also here often during the Bob period so I get all those jabs.   Actually Bob has made me  skeptical of what anyone posts everywhere.

Social media and datig apps have destroyed even getting chix that are average looking as they think they are higher than their looks due to the inboudn likes from guys.

Also social media has made them to fussy with videos like "* 12 red flags to look out for" and every permutiaton of that..they are all waiting for Mr Right when they are mostly Miss Wrong...fat, not pretty, feminazis, dimbos, their headcount off the charts (likelyhood of divorce and headcount are interlinked for females) etc etc.....

Divorce can be bad, but I think for quite a largely unreported number we get through it OK. 

 

I'm still very friendly with my ex, mother of two of my kids, we talk several times a week, and she gets on great with my Thai wife, primarily because when they are together they love nothing more than to bitch about me!

 

How many stories have we all read on AN from bitter guys who got fleeced by their Thai gf/wife? 

 

So relationship breakups are always hard, but I think the bitterness comes from the degree of, and I hate to say it, the money that gets lost.

 

Me and my ex did a mutual separation agreement, never needed a lawyer, we filed it with the court it cost us $50 and six weeks later it was done.

Neither of us got all that we wanted, but it was fair and we got on with our lives

For me, only thing is that my grown kids don't like my Thai wife. They think it's somehow supporting their Mum. Not true, former & I are in touch every week at least.

Thankfully all my adult kids get along with themselves and with Mom's.

 

My Thai son when he came to the US for college lived with my eldest daughter in Chicago, then after graduation moved with her to Denver.

 

Now we on to grandkids, and for them, both of them are nana (name)

 

I think when I first got divorced my daughters did hold some resentment against my Thai wife.

 

But as I explained to them, it wasn't her that cheated on their Mom, it was me!

Western women in Thailand tend toward entitled, bitter, fat and miserable. They bring all of their head trips and insanity in big bags to Thailand.

 

Anyone remember that teacher and I believe it was Chonburi that locked herself in her room for days and was  having a mental breakdown?  typical

 

I often wonder how a person could be so fat after living in Thailand for years. 

 

Today I happen to go to tops supermarket. I rarely go there only for some special greens. Anyway, saw some Large Marge surprisingly in the veggie section. She bought cucumbers 😳. Her basket was unsurprisingly full of bread and baked goods 🤯

 

They dress slovenly. Often in mumu type dresses or tired and way too much skin for their girth. 

 

With the exception of the tiny minority that are qualified - they are hell to work with. They never last... stay a few years and leave. Never hire a western woman she will do precisely that.

He's actually spot on in his comments. I think, with all your commenting here, that your dad was just like you are, which is where your thinking originated.

 

There has never been anything wrong with looking at women as equals, because if you don't, you're somehow thinking you're superior to them, and only look at them as conquests to get off in. That you are always (from your comments I don't see otherwise) going with prostitutes that you can do whatever you want with because you're paying them, that you cannot relate to a smart, independent, strong western woman.

 

As per the OP, I have always thought Thai women were among the prettiest women on earth, and my ex was a pretty one, although her brain is fried as far as normal thinking is concerned. When I move back, I will have no problem being again with a western woman, even in her 50's, as long as she takes, and has taken, good care of herself all along. They're independent, have been there, and are better company than a woman 20 years your junior, although I will ask my girlfriend here to come visit to see how she likes the US first.

Most women don't take good care of themselves past 60's, so I would prefer one who has been. That usually means in the 50's. Independent, already raised a family, maybe had a man that didn't act like a good husband, divorced, active, healthy lifestyle.
