A 33-year-old woman from Bangkok has been detained for selling her husband's ammunition online without his knowledge. She faces charges of illegal distribution and possession of ammunition.

The arrest took place on June 18 in Thaniya Soi 2 following a police undercover operation. Authorities discovered a Facebook post on June 12 in the group "Food and Goods in Rama 3" advertising 9mm bullets with a note saying "interested, message me." The post included a photo of a box containing 50 bullets.

To capture the suspect, police arranged for an undercover agent to negotiate a purchase via Facebook Messenger. They agreed on a sale of 30 bullets for 800 baht (approx. US$25).

The account was traced to a woman named Kamonchanok, and arrangements were made for a transaction on June 16 at 6:30pm at Thaniya Soi 2, within Bang Rak police jurisdiction.

Kamonchanok arrived by motorcycle at the meeting point and was caught with the ammunition. During questioning, she admitted to owning the Facebook account and acknowledged selling the bullets for 800 baht. She confessed to secretly taking the ammunition from her husband, claiming ignorance of the legal implications and her husband's unawareness of her actions.

She was charged under the Firearms and Ammunition Act for selling and possessing ammunition without permission, in violation of sections 7, 24, 72, and 73. Kamonchanok was transferred to Bang Rak police for further legal proceedings.

I'm sure the police will have already asked that question.

2 different stories.  These seem to be 9mm ammo, not pellets.
