It has nothing to do with CNN.

Every other channel could publish this study eg Fox news

there is another study put out by "Healthline" today saying the results in their testing - heart problems and increased chances of death.

In the mid 70’s I had a friend with debilitating arthritis that advanced rapidly within about six months he went from walking without any aid to crutches then bed ridden. He smoked a lot of dope and it helped alleviate the pain but it didn’t cure the condition.

Well, and next he'll die of lung cancer?

Don't see the words "Pfizer" or "CNN" mentioned, just a general AI Answer on Pharma advertising. So Pfizer is also  financing Fox News or any of the other TV Channels.

Anderson Cooper personally got 10m (allegedly)

Smoking since I was 18.  50+ years.  I didn't think I would live as long as this, maybe it's the weed affecting life extension.  If it was going to kill me it would have happened by now,

I have a dodgy liver, can't handle booze.  Drinking has not been an option, I'm glad I found a way to get a pleasant buzz.

Well, since there is a connection between your liver and Cannabis use I'm not surprised about your "dodgy" liver. If you don't believe me, ask another Doc you trust

Stupid is as stupid does. I guess that is why they call it dope. When I was much younger I had a friend who was constantly high on ganja even though he had a very high IQ. One night while high as usual he decided to clean his 12 gauge shotgun in his parents basement. Unfortunately, in his severely degraded mental capacity due to his being stoned, he forgot that there was a shell in the chamber. A while later his parents heard a very loud boom and ran down the basement. He must have been looking down the barrel when it went off as he was decapitated. More than fifty five years later I still morn the loss of this friend. I know this would have never happened if he was in his right mind.

Things like this occur to people who are drunk and also those who are sober.

So, you seem to know the answers to questions that are still being researched.

From the top result for a search on Google for 'What does cannabis do to your liver?'.

Cannabis use can potentially affect the liver, although the exact impact is still being researched.

Also, from the same result:
Some studies suggest cannabis use may be associated with elevated liver enzymes, increased liver scarring (fibrosis), and a higher risk of developing fatty liver disease, particularly in individuals with existing liver conditions like hepatitis C. However, other research indicates cannabis might have a protective effect against alcoholic liver disease and could even improve liver function in some cases

Also from a quick Google search:

What destroys the liver the most?
Too Much Alcohol
Alcoholic fatty liver, which causes liver inflammation (alcoholic hepatitis), eventual scarring (cirrhosis) and even liver cancer, is a process that begins on as little as four drinks a day for men and two for women. By the time you show symptoms, your liver may be damaged beyond repair.

No comparison really, Doctor Newbee..

Just a quick glance via Google reveals at least 7 different news outlets reporting this study.

The MAGA idiots have been brainwashed to believe only their news sources are accurate and everything else is garbage. In reality, it's actually the other way around.
