If, and I don't believe we are, but if we only have 3 years left then there is nothing that can be done. So, go out enjoy yourself and do whatever you like. You can think about it in 4 or 5 years time if you did the right things.

No I look at what the realities are not the fantasy. You can live in your dream world it is your right to do that.

Reality is the Larsen Ice Shelf is melting at unprecedented rates.

Reality is Greenland lost 3.8 trillion tons of ice from 1992 -2018.

Reality is the rise in sea temperature is the equivalent of 55,000 Tsar Bombas, the most powerful nuclear device ever detonated by man.  Just one releases 209 petajoules of energy.

But then, you probably would not recognize a joule if it bit you on the @rse.

Have you seen your doctor lately? I think you need a few psychology sessions

For someone who is given to lecturing others on "putting together sentences with meaning", you should try it yourself/

Your sentence is nonsensical. The fact remains that there is a growing likelihood of irreversible damage to the world's weather  patterns. It may not become immediately apparent, but it will manifest over the next 25 years, and by that time, be too late to remediate.

But coastal areas have not risen in water levels. Doesn't this seem a little strange?

For some inane reason silly ignorant and stupid people feel the need to 'follow' things that are patentably not true or cannot be disproven. Whether it be some form of religion or astrology or climate change or woke liberalism or no borders or free gaza or gay rights or the latest shampoo that is made from orangutan's urine, they want to believe in something and they need to be seen supporting something and protesting against something.  It is like they need to feel they are doing something as a form of narcissistic virtue signaling - but personally I dont understand why some people are like this. But I do know that they started getting louder and more demanding ever since the Vietnam War and Berlin and USSR protests succeeded. Nowadays they all want and demand that the world change to suit their own idiotic beliefs. They are IMO exactly like those religious fanatics that kill people who did not agree with their religious beliefs. Whether that be Christians in the past or Muslims now - they are all demanding their views be accepted by others - and they are happy to use force and that includes use of legal means, to force their opinions and views on others.  Some things are a fad and last a while and then peter out - but some of them become a cult and they last a long time and theose who 'believe' will do anything to keep that cult alive.

There is one fact that shows which ones are real (Vietnam War etc) and which ones are not and that what they want is wrong.  Proof.  They cannot provide any proof. They have feelings and opinions - and their delusional minds justify that to themselves that these are facts - it is called cognitive bias.   There has been claims of climate disasters going back to the 70s and the fact that they have not happened is proof that it is a cult - and I for one do not believe in cults.

Sea go up and down and always have.

Yes, there are two high and low tides every 24 hours.

Which has nothing to do with the data I posted.

I wish there was a pill to make people smarter, I'd even give you mine.

Where did you get your engineering degree, out of a cereal box?

Not true for all the world;

While some places have one high tide and one low tide per day, most coastal locations have two high tides and two low tides a day. These highs and lows typically aren't equal. This is why, in most places, using the phrase "high tide" might be unclear. There's actually high tide and higher high tide (and low and lower low tide).

How many high tides are there per day?

The earth is cooling, entering one of it's coldest phases.  Sorry hoaxers and haters...global warming is just another wet dream for y'all. Try science instead of woke brainwashed obsession.

You really do not understand what global warming means.

The warming disrupts currents and weather patterns including the jet stream. The result is that some places will experience  extreme cold, while others will experience extreme heat. Weather events are more extreme. High intensity typhoons and hurricanes become the norm, heavy rain and snow storms become more likely, tidal surges more intense because sea levels rise and so on.

Where has the sea level risen, and by how much?

Readily available information. As per NOAA; Between 1993 and 2023 mean sea level has risen across most of the world ocean (blue colors). In some ocean basins, sea level has risen 6-8 inches (15-20 centimeters). Rates of local sea level (dots) on the coast can be larger than the global average due to geological processes like ground settling or smaller than the global average due to processes like the centuries-long rebound of land masses from the loss of ice-age glaciers. Map by NOAA Climate.gov based on data provided by Philip Thompson, University of Hawaii.

Did you read the 2nd link, as it differs from the first link, by 113 years.

... "Global mean sea level has risen about 8–9 inches (21–24 centimeters) since 1880" ...
