Outsiders tried to divine which faction was ascendant based on whom Mr. Trump met with at any given time. Mr. Trump seemed almost gleeful in telling reporters that he could make a decision “one second before it’s due, because things change, especially with war.”

All the while, Mr. Trump was making blustery statements indicating he was about to take the country into the conflict. “Everyone should evacuate Tehran!” he wrote on Monday last week on Truth Social, the social media platform he owns. The following day, he posted that he had not left a meeting of the Group of 7 in Canada to broker a Middle East cease-fire but for something “much bigger.”

So, he told the world, “Stay tuned!”

These public pronouncements generated angst at the Pentagon and U.S. Central Command, where military planners began to worry that Mr. Trump was giving Iran too much warning about an impending strike.

A link has been provided in this thread in which the IAEA stated Iran informed them that they had taken steps to protect materials and equipment.

I expect the appreciated being given a ‘heads up’.

Yes you'll be very pleased to know that they may have moved the Uranium. Together with your theory of why Iran should not give permission to IAEA then everything's good.

Oh wait.

“Given the explosive payload utilized and the extreme vibration-sensitive nature of centrifuges, very significant damage is expected to have occurred,” Grossi added referring to the US bombing.

False and misleading claim.

This "point-blank" congressional hearing of Tulsi Gabbard was a confirmation  hearing - meaning that she was not  Director of the US intelligence at that time. As a nominee, she was not privy to to all relevant intelligence then and has changed her view since being confirmed.

did she said it yes or no

The DIA assessment also indicates some of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile was moved before the strikes, one of the sources said.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-iran-strikes-set-back-nuclear-program-by-months-intel-assessment/

Again?

"An initial classified assessment found the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities set back Tehran's nuclear program by a matter of months, according to three sources familiar with its contents."

That said they would have been very wise to move them.

All of this is totally mute,Putin is willing to sell nukes to Iran.

Maybe Pakistan also, what are they going to do about that?

This preliminary DIA report was incomplete and was not supposed to be released, nobody knows where they got their findings. They only have eyes in the sky, not eyes on the ground. Its the Intelligence Community (IC) which do have eyes on the ground.

Trump is Putin's puppet, and the whole idea of the strikes was to get Iran to buy nukes from Russia.

It seems that high performance concrete developed in Iran may have protected nuclear sites

In a First, America Dropped 30,000-Pound Bunker-Busters—But Iran’s Concrete May Be Unbreakable, Scientists Say

https://www.yahoo.com/news/first-america-dropped-30-000-205300766.html

This news made me curious, and I found this article, from 2012.

"Civil engineers in Iran have two major problems that their building materials need to be able to deal with. The first is earthquakes. The other is bombs.

As a result, the country has developed a particular expertise in making some of the toughest concrete in the world. The pinnacle of its development is known as Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), which contains powdered quartz, but the country's researchers are also working on integrating other types of fibres and nanoparticles to toughen the substance yet further."

There was also an article from the economist but it's under PW

Oh wait, I thought Trump was Netanyahu's puppet...

For years Netanyahu had been urging Trump to bomb Iran and has now done so after Israel softened up the air defences, I suppose many will say Trump, or at least US Administrations are Israel's puppet / proxy.

 Iranian officials downplayed the attacks

Yes they would.

Its quite possible that the US in its development of the bombs were aware of this no? After all they had these plans in place for years, it was not done on the back of a fag packet last week without knowing of Irans concrete.........

UHPC and also the diamond shape of the design that can divert the missile entry trajectory away from the nuclear sites.

There's no established evidence or known military strategy suggesting Iran utilizes a diamond-shaped design for its nuclear facilities to divert missile trajectories. That's the first thing IAEA would have picked up in its reports

As the article concludes:

"The U.S. Air Force will understandably not discuss its current bunker-busting capabilities or how they stack up against potential targets in Iran, China, or elsewhere. And most of the military work on high-strength concrete is similarly classified. But the severity of damage inflicted on Iran’s nuclear program will probably give us some clues."

They may developed the bomb to be effective in different condition but not tested. They will have to wait for the intel damage assessment and improve on the bombs.

This design was make known to them by the Chinese. Whether they use this design, I admit I don't know until we get intel details.

I think the US will test it beforehand after spending around half a billion developing them, your just clutching at straws now.

So you admit unsubstantiated claims and now make additional claims it was also made known to them by the Chinese.

Meanwhile the IAEA who has inspected the sites for years have not identified it

I couldn't care less about Trumps claim on obliteration, not quoted his claims once about the damage, you can stand down with the personal off topic slurs now. Fail and just proves that Trump hate is more important than finding the most accurate estimates  possible.
