Pompeygeezer Posted yesterday at 02:21 PM Posted yesterday at 02:21 PM I've heard if they stop you for an offence and they write up a ticket they can't confiscate your bike if you don't have the money on you there and then, and they have to let you go. You're quite in your rights to go to the station on your bike when you have the cash and pay. And the police have no right to detain your bike if you are willing to pay the fine at a later time at a police station. Is this correct?

Ironmike Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago It's been almost 3 years since I've been stopped in Phuket I have no idea why because it used to be stopped everytime I went through Chalong circle but since I installed a camera on my helmut they never stop me again no idea why that is because I know how honest the police are here.... Go figure.
