Grieving

Featured Replies

Well, my best mate passed away while I was in Thailand. He was 76, so I guess I'm next.  Had a bad accident yesterday, just got away with a few bruises, first accident in her fault in 20 years

"still kicking" - quite apt given the subject matter...     Sorry for your loss of such a close friend, thats going to happen to all of us at some-point - life can suck, at the same time it reminds us its so valuable.

Glad you are not seriously hurt...     bruises heal... onward and upward... have a single malt and a raise a glass to good fortune...  (that the accident wasn't worse)....

I reckon there's a few in line ahead of you.

Keep your head up mate, remain positive.

Staying happy, eating well and regular exercise is the key.

Be thankful for the friendship, good times, adventures and memories you had with your friend.  It is never easy and an unfortunate part of our lives.

One accident in 20 years than your doing great.  You'll be healed up and back in action in no time.

I agree please don't spiral into depression.  Play your favorite music, go do some activities you enjoy, maybe go down to the beach and enjoy a sunset beverage and the view.
