A shocking twist has emerged in the investigation of more than 100 missing cockfighting fans, known as sabungeros. A well-known actress has been named as a major player in their disappearance, according to an alleged suspect identified only as "Totoy."

In a televised interview, Totoy revealed that the celebrity is part of the "alpha team" behind the mystery. He plans to include her name in an affidavit listing 30 others believed to be involved.

Totoy shared, "There's a female celebrity involved. Everyone knows who she is. She's in the inner circle of the group."

He further explained, "She attended meetings and knows a lot. She could be a critical piece in this puzzle."

Although reluctant to publicly name the actress, Totoy insisted she and others, including police officers, should be charged. He plans to submit his affidavit once he gathers supporting evidence and witness testimonies.

Authorities suspect the disappearances may link to cheating during cockfighting events, specifically fight-fixing, where cockfighters deliberately lose. The case has captured public attention since the enthusiasts went missing between April 2021 and January 2022.

A former security guard from the Manila Arena claimed that the victims were strangled with wire and dumped in Taal Lake, adding a chilling layer to the ongoing investigation.
