KKU Hospital Lung Specialist

Featured Replies

Hello.

Since before Thai New Year I had the flu that turned into pneumonia.

1 week in the local village hospital, antibiotics etc.

So now still have lingering lung issues and would like a recommendation to see a lung specialist at KKU after-hours-clinic.

The local hospital was OK but I feel their old x-ray machine may not show all the problems and due to lack of beds they transfered me from emergency into the stroke ward with 7 others recovering from strokes and there am I coughing up toenails day and night, so stroke people (and me) unhappy. Plus hot and sweaty and they only turned the aircon on for 2 hours at 2 pm.

Just like another opinion.

You could try this place:-

If you know Srinagarin Hospital, you'll be familiar with the 2 roundabouts shown. SMC is on the ground floor of the building, on the right as you enter.

Prof. Watchara Boonsawat

Besides KKU Srinagarind Hospital he can also be seen once a week on Wednesdays at Ratchapruek Hospital in KK

Thanks again Sheryl.

KKU booked up till August so saw Prof. Watchara yesterday at Ratchapruek yesterday.

Brilliant hospital and a pleasure to visit. Reminded me of our working in China experience, same tasteful architecture style.

Xray showed lungs clear but need to use a steroid spray 2 puffs in morning and evening and should be OK in 1 or 2 months.

Good specialist, good hospital and B1200 odd for xray (B650) and Dr.

500km round trip nearly free as drive an EV and and was doing under 90km/hr at the 3 police radar traps on the way. Gotta watch for the small 90km/hr sign and police car and radar gun behind trees. 🙂
