Where do you go Thailand ?

Featured Replies

The latest poll's results shows a certain direction where Thailand might go.

But will Thai people achieve what they desire?đŸ˜ŗ

What's it got to do with us anyway? We're just temporary guests here, as we are constantly being reminded.

If you don't want to know about your future here... it's up to you.

But I'm interested in the country and it's/my future. Because I live here as a resident, not as a tourist.

A temporary, non-immigrant resident.

But you are right,  even as a long-stay tourist I am interested in the direction of the country I am staying in.

I found the poll quite interesting.

As a temporary, non-immigrant resident. (as @Lorry correctly puts it) There are only 2 things that I regard as important. The value of the Thai Baht and the regulations regarding my status here. I do not perceive anything in your post that has any bearing on either.

As a waiting for the final bbq, 24/7/365 days retired visitor, I'm not interested at all in Thai govt or politics, as can't vote or influence anything.  Simply follow the laws I have to, and ignore the ones myself or anyone else cares about.

Why stress over things you have absolutely NO control over.   No different than when I lived in the USA.   Only followed the news there, for investing trends. Anything else was irrelevant to my existence there.

I know. There are many expats who are interested only in Thai Baht, food and booze. And girls. So no shame on you.
