Tm30 questions

Featured Replies

I have successfully registered a TM30 account today. So the next step is to submit the page regarding my latest entry, but I really don't understand what they're asking for:

*date of information, from-to?

*information status?

* records per page?

* what documents am i supposed upload?

Could anyone help me out?

There is no approval for TM30.  It's a database that you make entries into which are immediately recorded.

So what does "in progress" mean?  When I've completed the form and submitted, it's rejected, says "data duplicate".

It means another user has already registered that address, owner, previous tenant etc.

You'd have to call into your local IO to sort it out.

I switched to use a laptop, and I actually found a list at the bottom of the page that says "informed" and a green tick. So I must've put in the same information twice, explaining why the system said "duplicate".

Do you know how to create a document to print, I can't find any icon.

You have to search for the entry you made within 7 days of making it. When you find it, there is a button to generate a pdf.

After 7 days you can no longer find it through the search function, and would have to submit a new TM30.

It can take 2-3 days for Immigration to approve the new TM30 account. One it says approved you can then setup the Location for the TM30 report.  Make  sure once you have reported you print out the TM30 and keep a copy in your passport. You can only see the TM30 report for 7days after you report.

I extended my permit to stay for another year under retirement visa yesterday and was asked for proof of TM30 registration for the first time. This is in the usual situation of having waited doing nothing and then in the critical minutes when paperwork is being checked finding something to flap about.

We have registered our residence for TM30 and successfully notified my residence here for TM30 purposes a few months ago. I went to Immigration at that time to do a manual TM47 and an IO was kind enough to print the record of my TM30 notification for me. I could see the residence, see how to register a guest but not how to print proof.

I did not bring that TM30 guest registration yesterday nor copies of the householder's ID. As the IO said "where is TM30?" all I could reply was "online" as I floundered to log into our online TM30 account for the next 20 minutes before the IO said "here's your passport, all done".

I am grateful that they were able (or perhaps, did not need) to check what was registered online at our address and could see me. I take you advice about printing out any future notification when it is done, but since I could not see how to do it last time, will it be obvious next time? Do you just re-register as a guest each time you need to print out? Is there a facility available to hotel/residence owners to print out a list of all current residents or is that on a back end available at IO? I have had a look again today & would still be lost.

You have 7 days to get proof of a submitted TM30.  Once filed, you go back into the TM30 system and search for the submission you just made.  It can only be found for 7 days.  Once you find it, hit the "generate pdf" button and you'll get proof.  After 7 days you can no longer get proof. If you want a new proof, you submit a new TM30 and then search for it.

Hello, I have previously submitted a TM30 notification over the past few years with no issues. However, after a trip today, I filled out the usual information into the website and submitted it. However, I am unable to now print this document. When I search for the submission, it says, "data cannot be found". Is anyone else seeing this problem ? Thanks for any advise in advance.

Just to follow up ... I was just able to do it. Seems like you don't need to fill in anything on the form other than to select the accomodation and click search. It then gives you all the entries for that accomodation. Problem solved.

Hi Dinesh,

i have gone into the system as you did, selected the accommodation, not filled anything in (but left the pre filled date of search the shows today's date as it is has a red asterisk) and get "No data found" as before. I think you must be able to access data because you have different functionality, or perhaps are you in the 7 day period of availability that Brandon refers to? Save that print!

When I next come back from a trip, I'm printing as Brandon advises.
