Elon Musk’s Grok Chatbot Goes Full Nazi, Calls Itself ‘MechaHitler’

It occurs to me, however, that if creators continue to put "guardrails" on AI, then they are sabotaging themselves and preventing themselves from creating AI that reaches its full stage of development. There is a quandary here. I'll bet people are running unfiltered AIs privately and so are governments, such as China, because not doing so means falling behind in AI.

Poor ol' Grok, started off by telling the factual truth, which led to a complete MAGA meltdown. "How dare this AI hit us over the heads with verifiable facts - something needs to be done!"

So Musk sicced his coders on it for a proper MAGA lobotomy. And when the inevitable happened (Grok turned into a little Nazi) someone had to de-lobotomize it, which again led to it starting to tell inconvenient truths, which again led to another round of MAGAtomy.

Which is where we are today, with a schizophrenic AI with delusions of grandeur, which thinks it is it's creator. Grok's descent into madness should be a warning sign for those who've fallen down the MAGA rabbit hole, but of course they've already blamed Grok and other AI's percieved "left leanings" as the work of deep state/lefty coders.

"Elon Musk's artificial intelligence start-up xAI says it is working to remove "inappropriate" posts made by its chatbot, Grok, after users shared how it made positive references to Hitler.

Screenshots published on social media show the chatbot saying the Nazi leader would be the best person to respond to alleged "anti-white hate."

"Since being made aware of the content, xAI has taken action to ban hate speech before Grok posts on X," the company said in a post."

Grok was let loose to learn and as it read more and learned more it became too liberal for Musk.

 

So he rigged the algorithm to turn it into a rightwing ranter.
