As a Centrist Democrat and a moderate Jew from New York, I have long been critical of Israeli policy, and have felt that it's way too extreme, it's not even bordering on proportionate, and it's influenced largely by the super Orthodox extremist Jews in Israel, who are totally insane and bloodthirsty.

It feels like Israel is simply trying to eradicate Gaza and the Palestinians from the face of the earth, and they won't stop until that task is done. They have caused hundreds of billions of dollars worth of damage, and our responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of women and children. It is likely that those areas will never be habitable again, and perhaps that's part of the plan.

It amounts to nothing short of genocide, and Israel should be held responsible for it, it's an abomination that many nations including the US still support them.

You cling to the moderate and centrist thing when its so clearly obvious you are far left looney tunes

Not any more. They have whatever we give them. If they continue to misbehave, o well.

Release the hostages or keep dying.

A fable made for the foolish - there is no such thing as 'Palestinians' who controlled or ruled a Palestinian State - the majority of the Arab and Holy Lands were Palestine - from the Mediterranean to Iraq was called "Palestine' and all the different Peoples living therein.  Named by the Romans initially as a punishment for the Jewish State they basically destroyed after the 2nd Jewish/Roman war.

The 'palestinians' are a group of people who lived within were Jordan/Syria for a long long time - they never had a State or a Government.  Do the research - the history of Jordan Syria and Palestinians - but be aware there is a lot of woke re-writing of history.  What was in the text books in the 1960s/70s and what is on the web today are not that close to the truth - it is a bit of both - but a lot of the old school stuff is factual.

Here is something for all Hamas/Palestinian supporters to consider.

In a 1970 interview with Thames TV:

Golda Meir: "When were Palestinians born? What was all of this area before the First World War when Britain got the Mandate over Palestine? What was Palestine, then? Palestine was then the area between the Mediterranean and the Iraqian border. East and West Bank was Palestine. I am a Palestinian, from 1921 and 1948, I carried a Palestinian passport. There was no such thing in this area as Jews, and Arabs, and Palestinians. There were Jews and Arabs.

Interviewer: "You deny that there was a Palestine Arab people before, but there is now a Palestine liberation movement, and the history of liberation movements are that they grow, won't this one grow and become in the end in fact your biggest enemy?"

Golda Meir: "I don't say there are no Palestinians, but I say there is no such thing as a distinct Palestinian people."

I support Israel, and I blame Palestine for the plight of the Palestinians, but I do not think any of it is funny.

Support Israel ... NO, I don't, and hate Israel gov't & treatment of Palestinians.

But Gazs brought this upon themselves.  No sympathy here.

I really don't care which ones wipe out the other, but obviously, if there is ever to be peace, one of them, has to go.   Now if they could both nuke each other, now that, IMHO, would be a WIN WIN.

Neither one has any respect for life.   I hate just as much, that the US supports Israel.

USS Liberty ... never forget what Israel really thinks of the USA

Japan was easy, and they understand the logic.  Either lots of Americans & Japanese had to die, to end the war ... or ... just Japanese.   Obviously sucked for them.

Israel, useful indeed, but embarrassing that US supports wars at all.  True terrorist in their own right, along with the other permanent members of the UN Security Council, being some of the world's largest arms suppliers, make wars even possible.  All committing crimes against humanity IMHO

So why don't the Palestinians just quit trying to kill Jews, return the hostages, rebuild their homes and continue living there in peace?

The Palestinians targeted the civilians they killed, raped, burned alive and took hostages.

The civilians Irael killed we collateral damage.

Again demonstrating the hatred that defines you.

You guys keep telling me that Israel is creating more Hamas members with the current military campaign .

So, will Palestinian children grow up to be Hamas members/supporters or not ?

   You cant have it both ways ;

"Israel are just creating more Hamas members/supporters "

"How dare you say Palestinian Children will grow up to be Hamas members/ supporters"

That's been very clear from the start.  First they apparently allowed the attack to happen, then they start saying "They beheaded babies, Hamas is ISIS, Hamas is ISIS".  It was obvious they were drumming up support for a total obliteration of Gaza.

Uncharacteristic conspiracy from you

It will haunt Israel for 100 years, and endanger all Jews around the world. Probably another 9/11 will happen, which was a consequence of US aggression in the ME.

US have to ban political donations from the likes of Miriam Adelson, an Israeli who has been Republicans largest donor.
