So as usual, no answer what the investment will consist of, other than serial liar Trump CLAIMING things, which most likely in the coming days will be contradicted by the Japanese. Same as happened with the majority of other FAKE deal announcements made by Trump in the last 3 months.

Oh hell....didn't realise Biden started a tariff war......missed that.

  • Are you sure?

  • Oh, you mean Trump will reduce the deficit? That's not what the CBO says.   "Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' is projected to add $3.4 trillion to the debt, Congressional Budget Office says"

Who cares about the drivel you post.

Biden had people to handle that. He was busy actually being a president.

Instead of making a clearly opinionated quip, name the great things Biden did for the US, its economy and overall state. What did he do for the disasters in Florida, Ohio and Western North Carolina? Nothing! I'm politically unbiased, but those four years were really unproductive for the US. If you're going to bring up the illegals in the US, remember, they are called that, because they are illegally in the US.

No, as everyone knows,  it doesn't clarify every detail right now,  but you don't even want to acknowledge the deal positively because its goes against your ingrained dergement.

Why not just admit it

Under which username did you post those advices? I don't recall I have made any suggestions about bitcoin.

But to be honest, with every post you make it becomes more clear that Angryguy is just another Susan account

Please point out where you posted the detail of the investment, other than "Trumps claims".

And of course there are no details, as with every FAKE deal announcement from Trump, which became clear when the countries concerned started to respond publicly.

I just said I didn't have details, nobody does as the deal was just done...remind me again how this deal affects you, i forgot what you said,  why you are so vehemently arguing against it?

Why is a Russian so vehemently defending Trump's fake deals?

Because i  trade stock and crypto, if you had any sense you'd ditch the hate. Otherwise You will be here in 3.5yr, in the same situation with the same hate, looking visiblely older and a lower bank balance... all that time wasted

Of course YOU dont recall your predictions that are always WRONG but others do. Thats why it helps to do your own research instead of blindly making predictions on topics on which you know nothing about

Thanks for the comment Susan. I hope you don't mind calling you Susan, Sparktrader or Harrisfan in the future, because that is who you are.

That boring person always talking about winning, without providing any evidence, and be the most popular poster on this forum, while in fact you are the most disgusted one

So predictable...  you have nothing but knee jerk headlines, what about the 550 billion in investments🤡🤡🤡🤡

Well, I'm not an American, and neither are you, but the people that are disadvantaged and explaining their frustrations are Americans, and probably have voted for the clown in charge.

“Any deal that charges a lower tariff for Japanese imports with virtually no US content than the tariff imposed on North American-built vehicles with high US content is a bad deal for US industry and US auto workers,” Matt Blunt of the American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC), a trade group representing the Big Three, said to Automotive News.

Ford CEO Jim Farley has argued in the past that if Trump strikes a similar deal with Korea, for example, it would again reward those automakers who make only some of their vehicles in the US and North America and punish domestic automakers who build in Mexico and Canada.

On Tuesday GM reported Q2 earnings took a $1.1 billion hit due to Trump’s tariffs, and Stellantis revealed on Monday that it lost $2.7 billion in the first half of the year due to a combination of lagging sales and tariffs.

Definitively not a Russian, buddy.

There is some confusion here. People are saying, 1. US tariffs will hurt Americans and 2. tariffs of other countries will hurt America.

Which is it?

Trump always announces these things as if they are something new. But I watch Japanese TV. They were not concerned, as they see themselves as the biggest investor in the USA and understood that the trade war is actually against China.

His figures are usually made up for his domestic audience.

This was on the 22nd of July. But suddenly, the figures have changed. Trump supporters are basically idiots.

@illisdean @frank83628 @Mike_Hunt When are you going to accept that these are all lies, meant solely for his domestic audience?

Look at the picture/article I posted above. It's all BS. Made up figures.

OK, so say trump lied and it's 400b investment....thats 400b, what is wrong with that?

What you going to say... waste of time, right, may as well not have bothered ?

No...what I'm saying is that these investments were likely going to take place anyway. In reality, the deal is usually some small adjustment. It's a political game. Japan was always onside and so the adjustments will be small. The announcement is for domestic purpose.

I think I am the only AN poster who lives in Japan.

And the deal is seen very positively here. The Tokyo Nikkei Market is at record levels, up 5% in 2 days.  It just might save the PM's job.

Exactly. Japan has been the first foreign investor in the U.S. for a decade already.

Thailand is still negotiating but apparently they're hoping that Thai Airways' big order for 787's will swing the tariff balance more their way.

Ah  'negotiating' a word that wasn't in anyones vocabulary here the last 6 months when bitching about tariffs.
