These new sites Co-Pilot and Chat GPT and others

Featured Replies

I would like to know what people's opinions of these sites are-
Personally, I mainly use the Co-Pilot in the main and find it much more helpful than, say, Google  and yes, one can ask a question, but sometimes the answer is not there but guides one to complicated sites and the one mentioned above it seems so much more helpful and yes, they use technology but it seems one is engaging with an actual body and are very useful indeed on just about every subject.

Your thoughts please and thanks.

I've been shot down by a few luddites on here previously......but I find them an absolute Godsend.

They learn from other websites so if they hoover up garbage they will spit out garbage and I've seen this on a several occasions.

However as there's substantially more accurate info than garbage out there then more often than not they'll be right, but always check before acting on anything they say.

They certainly struggle current affairs.....it took three goes to convince ChatGPT that Sunak was not the UK's current PM.

Been using both, but think you have it spot on.....I'm definitely gravitating toward Co-Pilot.

Told ChatGPT and 'he' didn't seem too upset.

I use the free ChatGPT version & it's much better than Google for general searches.

Why use so called "AI"?

You just absorb "it's" info with no idea of it's so called source!

At least a normal internet search will take you to the source materials whereby you can evaluate the validity of those sources and therefore the validity of the info!

I request the appropriate links, to support my search.

The AI's I've used list the sources they base their answer on.
